Forget the previous comment from the guy from Dunbar, pathetic and nothing to back his claims up with. We've stayed here many times and in the past the bedrooms have looked a little dated. But, the Ruskin are trying and they have now completed refurbishments to all bedrooms. Well done. The al a carte menu is excellent and you will not go hungry I can assure you. Plus breakfast in the morning has so much choice and has little or has much has you want

Keep up the good work.

P,S. I have always found the staff and porters to be polite, perhaps the magician should take his props and make himself disappear.

friendly and helpful welcome from reception. Room was spacious and very clean although a bit too noisy for my 84 year old mum as we were directly over the concert room - it did not bother me though. Food was excellent and the staff very attentive. Will certainly be going again on next trip to Blackpool.

Very central hotel, close to Blackpool Tower. One of the friendliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff are all very pleasant and hard working. Very keen to please their customers. The food is excellent. Good variety at every meal. Excellent service from the dining room staff. Our room was large and extremely clean. Special mention has to be made of Kath and her team at Reception, who were so helpful when I requested that we take our Golden Retriever with us and arranged for the large room. They were all most pleasant and very obliging. Even the night porter (sorry can't remember your name) was cheerful and chatty. This hotel doesn't take hen or stag parties, so you'll get a good night's sleep. The only negative which I could mention is that the floor boards in the corridors are very creaky, so a bit noisy - maybe someone could lift the carpet and put a few extra nails in them!! Would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Lift is slow, so lower floors recommended.
