We enjoyed our stay at the baron. Lovely breakfast. Could have done with a bit more though!! Room was clean with daily service in it. Waiter was knowledgeable and helpful. We will be going again and I would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed for one night in a twin room in February mid-week so the hotel was understandably empty. We received a warm welcome from the owner, who took us to our room. He was very friendly and approachable and I'm sure that if we had a problem he would have sorted it for us.

Generally I think the temperature was set too hot, and we couldn't open the window which gave us a stuffy night.

The breakfast is included in the bill, my poached eggs were fine but the full english my friend had was disappointing and dry.

We would still go back and stay at this very pleasant hotel.

Ideal location - tram/bus stop almost outside if you are a senior don't forget bus pass as travel is free on both, great for going to town centre or Fleetwood
We could not wish for better service both from Graham the proprietor or Rob who looked after us in the dining room. As my mum is 93 we were given a room with a seaview right opposite the lift, our cases were taken to our room and even out to the car - (obviously if they had been busy this would not have been possible),
Our bedroom which was spotless had a seaview and whilst not huge had sufficient room for two lovely comfy chairs where we could sit and enjoy the complimentary tea/coffee, The towels were even made into swans for our arrival
The dining room in the basement was accessed by either stairs or a lift and breakfast offered either full English which was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot, or continental if preferred. A nice extra touch were the scissors provided to cut those awkward sauce satchets
Nothing was too much trouble and both Graham and Rob were a mine of info whether it be Blackpool history, where to eat or trips out and we were constantly been asked if we were ok and whether we needed anything else and if we did to just ask

The lounge was small but very comfortable and Barnaby the resident parrot was entertaining even if he did keep saying goodbye when we went near him
Dont expect the rooms to be massive, they aren't but then neither is the price, but the room we had was certainly big enough
Having car parks to both front and rear of the hotel is an additional bonus - even in the busy season there would be room for all cars
The only criticism I had - and even this didnt affect us - was the lift could only take 2 people with small cases, no problem when the hotel was quiet or if you are on a lower floor, but guess could be a bit problematic when the hotel is busy at breakfast, but if you are fit the stairs would be no problem.
Altogether a really excellent hotel.

Room Tip: Just bear in mind if you like to sleep with your window open there could be traffic noise in the sum...

The Baron Hotel is in a great location to access all the attractions of Blackpool, we received a warm welcome and the waiter was indeed very helpful when suggesting places to visit and where to eat. The only problem that we had was that on arrival to the room (which was clean and tidy) there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, it was suggested that this was from the previous occupants, but unfortunately the smell of renewed smoke continued throughout our stay, and woke my husband one morning as it was so strong we were unsure as to where the cigarette smoke was coming from as there was no one was smoking outside at the time and the windows were closed.
Despite this we enjoyed the stay, the seaview and the reasonable value for money.

A most comfortable and inviting hotel situated close to all that Blackpool has to offer. A most convivial landlord for whom nothing was too much trouble. Our room with a sea view was perfect in every respect. A comprehensive breakfast menu; ours was both wholesome and tasty. The lounge with its small bar was the ideal venue for a 'nightcap'!
