“Lovely”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

My son and I stayed last night with our great pal. We had a room facing the sea - very lucky with the weather! The room was spotless and the shower was out of this world- literally! Mick the husband of the team was very amenable and funny. Breakfast was perfect, there is also a bar but we were late going back so we didn't experience the pleasure of having a drink . A lovely place to stay. The breakfast young people were fab- highly recommended all round! We would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: Room 9 suited us! Double and a twin bed. V comfortable.

- Service in Hotel excellent from start to finish. Staff were always very friendly and helpful
- Breakfast served every morning freshly cooked and as requested and was delicious
- Hotel was under renovation in some parts but even as we stayed the outdoor façade changed from white to purple, giving it a more updated look and highly noticeable from the promenade.
- Our room was very cozy and comfortable throughout our stay. An electric fan might have been nice at night some times, although the weather was warmer than normal during our stay.
- Hotel was ideally located for local bars, restaurants and attractions. If travelling to the Pleasure Beach the hotel has a Tram stop directly outside. Only £2 per adult to travel to the Pleasure Beach
- One potential improvement to be made would be in the bathroom in the room we stayed in. The shower's temperature was erratic throughout our stay and the drain basin filled up quickly with water.
- There was a bar with a large screen TV that we made minimal use of due to the glorious weather during the time we stayed. The couple were always pleasant throughout and were on hand in the bar to provide info on transport, locations of interest and also cheap offers to attractions.

I'd highly recommend anyone to stay at the Bromley for a week or even just a weekend.

Overall the hotel was pretty well kept, nice staff and the owner was friendly although his wife
never made any effort to communicate?
The towels were never changed and the room was not cleaned on our 2nd night which was very poor
The shower was that bad it would of been quicker to wash in the sea so pretty disappointing.
Would I go again? Only if the showers was sorted out and his wife made more effort ;)

Room Tip: It was nice and quiet on the north side

I have already reviewed this hotel before. However, I feel I should say this hotel has now got even better. It is now the proud owner of the AA gold four star award, not surprising, the owners are great hosts, the decor, really great, and food excellent.
I cannot recommend this place enough, it is right on the seafront, close to the main town, a few minutes walk to the tower and attractions..
I will definitely be staying there again

Room Tip: As with any seafront hotel, get one looking over the beach, but if you can't, not a problem, all...

The Bromley is perfectly situated on the quieter North Promenade just 10 mins walk from the shops bars and restaurants of Blackpool. The sea views from our rooms were stunning. The rooms were lovely and clean with everything you need (including lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even biscuits). The bathroom was super with a large walk in shower and plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was excellent (not a spot of grease) and the waitresses were very good. Bar area was very relaxing, with large windows over the Irish Sea. Drinks were extremely reasonable (just to add if you are sports fans, there is Sky Sports). Mick and Nicky were great and added to our enjoyment of the break. Nothing was too much trouble if it was within their power to sort. We will definitely be returning in the summer.
