“New Year Break”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

The Bromley is perfectly situated on the quieter North Promenade just 10 mins walk from the shops bars and restaurants of Blackpool. The sea views from our rooms were stunning. The rooms were lovely and clean with everything you need (including lots of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even biscuits). The bathroom was super with a large walk in shower and plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was excellent (not a spot of grease) and the waitresses were very good. Bar area was very relaxing, with large windows over the Irish Sea. Drinks were extremely reasonable (just to add if you are sports fans, there is Sky Sports). Mick and Nicky were great and added to our enjoyment of the break. Nothing was too much trouble if it was within their power to sort. We will definitely be returning in the summer.

Mick & Nicky were great hosts, we stayed for a weekend last year for the last weekend of the lights. Everything was lovely, the breakfast was yummy, the room we had was spacey, very clean, very nice people. Will Defo stay there again.

I loved my stay at this fantastic bed and breakfast. The rooms were immaculate, the staff (Nix and her husband Mick) were extremely friendly, the breakfast was glorious.
On arrival, Nix was extremely welcoming. She checked us in, and kindly escorted us to our room. The rooms were very well kept. They were immaculate, the rooms are very well furnished. And are very vintage/retro which I love.
There is honestly nothing negative that I can say about this B&B. I am astounded at the quality for the price.

We stayed for weekend in October for the illuminations and I have to say we have stayed in some hotel dives but this is NOT one of them. Mick and Nix were very welcoming from the start and great with the kids.
Parking is a tight squeeze but when its free and school holidays, you can't really complain. Rooms are nice and clean, even got turned over after the first nights stay. A lovely little bar, with reasonable prices and a pool table and board games table for the kids. Its a bit of a trek from the Blackpool tower, but there are plenty of tram stops if you don't mind waiting to get on one.
Breakfast is excellent! Worthy of the award its won. Cooked fresh to order with plenty of choice. Mick and Nix give great advice on local restaurants and even helped us book a table.
I would defiantly go back to The Bromley again and have recommended it to family and friends. The only thing I would change would be to request a room the the sea front, as we like to sleep with the windows open and it was a bit noisy on the back.

We stayed here for one night in October and had 2 family rooms which had just been refurbished and were done to a great standard.
Had a very welcoming arrival and were quickly shown to our rooms.
Service was fab - and breakfast also really nice.
The location is really good, nice and quiet up the north end.
Would recommend if you're looking for a nice quiet hotel - and the free parking is a bonus!
