Just got back from our fourth visit and brilliant again!!! Tony and Mike make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. It is impossible to fault anything about the way the kenley is run, the large breakfast is cooked to perfection and the evening meal is a must for anyone staying. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, Tony and Mike deserve a lot of credit for the standards they have set. We would happily recommend the Kenley to anyone looking for the best accomodation in Blackpool.

Room Tip: We choose the luxury room 5 which overlooks st chads road, but if unavailable dont worry as all the...

Me and my wife went to this stunning B&B for 2 nights and 3 days as a Christmas gift. Firstly it is very easy to locate off junction 5 of the M55. It is located on a one way street with free parking on the left side of the street. We were fortunate as a car pulled off leaving a space as we arrived. But looking around there seems to be enough parking in surrounding streets. We were welcomed by mike told to leave our suitcases in the hallway and invited into the beautiful lounge/reception where we were brought a well needed cup of tea and a muffin and relaxed with mike. It was a perfect start to our break as we relaxed our bags were taken to our room for us. We had a pleasant conversation with mike for 15 mins before being shown to our room. The room was fantastic, very clean, stylishly decorated, comfy bed, clean en suite bathroom. As well as the usual Tea coffee etc. Also there was free wi-fi. After a hour or so we went out for tea to a nearby grill restaurant which was about 10 mins walk away. We returned and had drinks in the lounge where we served by tony. The drinks were priced very reasonably £3 a pint which for a top notch b&b I feel is very good. We relaxed in the lounge complete with comfy sofas, t.v, a marine tank, music and spoke with tony. Both mike and tony are extraordinary hosts very polite very helpful very genuine. They will help you with anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We
retired for the night and had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed. The next morning we had a beautifully cooked breakfast usual full English, but also available was cereal fruit croissants etc, even fish dishes if ordered the night before. In the day are the great Blackpool attractions to see and do, the pleasure beach is just 5/10 mins walk away if that, the beach is 1 min walk away, and the tower is about 15/20 mins down the front away and everything else is in between so the kenley is in an ideal location. The rest of our stay was just as pleasant as the first day and we checked out on Sunday morning. We could not fault this b&b and it has been awarded 5 stars by visit England which just about sums it up. Next time we go we will be staying here again.

Wow, this place is second to none. This is the third time we have stayed now, and we have already booked again for next year. We were greeted by Mike with a hot drink and cake and Mike took our case up to our rooms. We decided to treat ourselves to the deluxe room with it being our anniversary (room 5), the bed was so comfortable and the extra touches of dressing gown and sliipers were lovely.

We came down to breakfast the following morning and Tony and mike had decorated the breakfast room with Happy anniversary signs and bought us a bottle of wine and card, which was so nice and thoughtful. Tony and Mike are two of the nicest guys you could ever wish to meet and go out of their way to make sure your stay is amazing.

They are always available to chat and recommend places to eat or visit and nothing is too much for them. We stayed in for the meal on Saturday night and as always was exceptional. My husband loves the mushroom soup and didn't think that Tony's mushroom could be beaten. But in my husband's words "the broccoli and stilton smashed it". Now my husband always says he doesn't like broccoli and stilton but was so pleased he ordered it. WE love it here and highly recommend it although we are worried that if we tell too many people we won't be able to get in in the future. the no1 spot is well deserved and other b&b owners could learn from the Kenley.

Room Tip: room no 5 is worth the extra for the extra luxury

Spotlessly clean, modern & great breakfast. Tony & Mike were there when ever we needed them. Excellent location for Tower/Pirate Cove arcade and Pleasure Beach Theme park at the other end of prom. First b&b for our 12yr old son, very impressed, apparentley never staying in a hotel again! Used car park in Crystal Road, one road along from b&b. £5 for 24 hours, car was fine.

This is our 2nd visit to The Kenley, the last time we were there was just before Tony and Mike had some refurbishment work done, although it was lovely then. To our amazement it was even better this time around, the lounge, dining room, the bedrooms and ensuites furnished to top hotel standards and were immaculate, with lots of extra touches included. We were greeted warmly by Tony and Mike on arrival and offered a drink and cake which was greatly appreciated. Our cases were taken up to the room for us. We had an evening meal that night which was just as we remembered from our previous visit, absolutely divine! Breakfast was of the same high quality too, with everything you could want being available. Tony & Mike are two of the loveliest men you could ever wish to meet and made us feel very welcome and like we had known them for years. Thank you Tony & Mike, you have got running your guest house down to a fine art and are 'simply the best'! Hope to see you both again in the future, David & Ann.

Excellent in every way. first trip to to blackpool for eight years and invited to a civil ceremony it was my job to source the hotel lot of pressure!
The location on St Chads was on a very well kept street where all the hotels seem to be smarter than the front or surrounding streets.
Lived up to all the reviews the attention to detail is above and beyond decent hairdryer, clothes brush, earplugs and my other halfs favourite hallway sweetie bowl.
The breckfast was of a first class standard in quality and presentation fresh fruit in blackpool !! things have really changed.
The bed and bed linen and cleanliness was exceptional.
thankyou tony and mike for regaining my faith in blackpool

Room Tip: we stayed in rooms 1 which is at the back standard double excellent
