I have stayed at this hotel many times and find the staff friendly and helpful, the food is superb and a variety of choice.
The sea front rooms are an added bonus but all rooms are clean and tidy.
Entertainment is to a high standard and the small pool and sauna are ideal for a quick chill out after a day around the shops.
The only downside is the car park new lines are required and people should be made to park appropriately.

Returned to the Claremont after a few years break and found it to be looking very tired and worn.Rooms clean but shabby decor. Our room was near the lift so alot of noise. The food was excellent and very efficient service and plenty of choice.Entertainment was good but abit hit and miss to what time the acts come on stage. So everyone was sat around patiently waiting with long breaks inbetween. But all in all it was ok for a Fri to Sun break.

We where relocated to the Claremont as the Viking were we usually go was closed. We all thought ok it will be a bit of a change as we have been to the Viking for the last 7 years!
When we arrived to check in we where given the keys and sent on our way to find rooms in the motel with very little help or direction!! Rooms where clean and that was the only good thing I can say!!
