“FIRST VISIT BUT NOT OUR LAST”
Reviewed March 16, 2014

Just got back from our first visit to the Claremont having previously always stayed at their sister hotel The Cliffs . The food was very good ,and without any fuss they even catered for my husbands dietry problem ,The hotel very clean entertainment was excellant and everyone was very friendly .A lot of guests were regulars going several times a year and we can see why ,nothing was too much trouble Only downside was having to be moved owing to a problem with our room on second day and being immediately moved to another room we then had a very small bathroom ,Bus and tram stops outside the hotel even the weather was kind
We will return

Yet another great weekend at this hotel. Food was superb, room spotless ,entertainment excellent. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. The location of the hotel could not be better, right on the seafront, with bus and tram stops directly outside.

Room Tip: we always ask for second floor or higher, then you are not disturbed by the entertainment if you want...

Just got back from an All Inclusive weekend at The Claremont for husbands birthday, could not fault this Hotel. The food was the best I have tasted, the Beef and Lamb exceptional! Entertainment very good, Ryan, Dj, your a star! Made our weekend. Do you realise how good you are? Rooms on the small side, bathroom very small, room 254, but apart from that we will be back soon.

Recently stayed at the Claremont Hotel at Blackpool on the all inclusive package. The food was excellent the room very cosy. The entertainment very good also good choice of beers, but the concert room a bit small for the amount of people staying at the hotel.Definately better here overall than at the viking. The only bad thing was unable to have a shower due to problem getting water to the fourth floor which was being looked into we heard fromsomeone at the reception.

Do not take a shower between the times of 8am-9am or 6pm-7pm as I tried and no water came out of the shower.I find this unacceptable as you expect this to be a standard facility in any hotel as it's not much to ask for, after all if the hotel cannot provide a service they have provided then the showers should be removed to avoid disappointment or install a larger water tank to accommodate all rooms with enough water.

Just returned after 5 night all inclusive. Once again entertainment very good most nights. Plenty to do during the day quiz's darts indoor bowls etc. Food very good with great selection for evening meal Buffet breakfast and very good light lunch Very good value for money with Tetley bitter and mild on drought along with Carlesburg larger all spirits branded except brandy Gordons Gin etc. Rooms cleaned every day new lift a great improvement. No toilets on ground floor need to use lift or steep stairs to access toilets not the most convenient ( pardon the Pun) Great location for Blackpool shopping

Room Tip: Sea view not worth the extra

Had a fantastic time here room lovely and serviced everyday. Food excellent quality and good choices, drink I found to very satisfactory would disagree about watered down saw bottles being cracked open no sign of being tampered with. Made lovely new friends and most of other guests always cheery and said hello had wee chats with you with the exception of one who was the most arrogant, ignorant rude person I have ever came across and sadly one member of the bar staff seemed to think this mans attitude was expectable and was pretty rude as well therefore because of this behaviour I have marked the hotel down a point and would suggest and appropriate queuing procedure in place at the bar. This incident had been the last of many throughout my stay to which I had kept my mouth shut but when it happened again on my last night I thought I would mention the fact that I hadn't been served and found it quite up unacceptable for this rude person to walk in in front of me "demand" his pint and when questioned was just rude and arrogant to me but as I say batman thought this totally acceptable and said" you will get served" " what do you want" " can I just have a water now" to which the reply was " please would be nice" !! I had just been put of my drink lady night wasted by the rude creature then being questioned on my " manners" I was gob smacked and another guest at the bar totally agreed this was out of order ! anyway I am now home and won't mention the bar person's name but maybe if he continues speaking to guests like that he may not be there on my next visit because I won't allow people like that to put me off what on the whole was a fantastic break. Keep up the good work Claremont oh and of course Ryan and Keiron fantastic hosts on same if not better than the entertainment fabulous stuff guys
