We have just returned for a four night stay at the Claremont and it was better than ever. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent. We have returned every year for the last 20 years, need i say more!

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to the Claremont, it is looking sad from the outside - paint peeling off etc, and is pretty much the same inside. it really could do with an uplift! We got into our rooms earlier this year and after unpacking went to enjoy the all inclusive bar - excellent value as always. We had dinner, the food is brilliant - cannot fault it at all and then went back to our room. Something was very loud - sounded like an airplane taking off outside the window. I rang reception and they said that it was the extractor fan - it was outside our window. The girl said it did go off 30 minutes after service finished on an evening but came back on at 6.00 in the mornings, she said we could move then or when she was back on at 8 in the morning. As I mentioned earlier we had "enjoyed" the all inclusive part of the holiday so opted for the next morning. This was in hindsight a mistake as we were woken with the sound like a bomb had been dropped on the hotel - it was the fan!
So we packed up - this being 6.30 am and waited for 8 to come. We went to reception and without hesitation were given another room, which was on the 3rd floor and much quieter apart from there were workmen in the next room and they were using a very noisy drill, fortunately this was only through the day so we missed most of it. We were surprised that we had been given this room as the hotel was only half full! Room 133 - if you are given this and don't have earlugs do ask for a different room!!
Anyway the holiday started in earnest and the background music was a good selection but after 3 days of the same CD being played I did ask if they had a different one as we were mighty fed up of Roy Orbison driving all night!!! Anyway on the last day the music was changed - shame we could only appreciate this during breakfast as we left after this.
All in all it was a great 5 day break and amazing value and we will all being well be going back next year!!

Stayed here last autumn for a short break. The food was excellent. The service was even better. The entertainment was excellent. The rooms were OK (bathroom on the small side) but decent. But for me and the other half fri sat night food drinks and entertainment £120 all in it was great value. Going again this month for another short weekend break as we enojyed it so much last time. Some freinds go regular and invited us last time now we're going every time.

My husband and i had a mid week all inclusive break at The Claremont, what a great experience there is very little that we can find fault with. We are not regular visitors to Blackpool and to be honest i didnt have great expectations, but how wrong i was!
We arrived late on the sunday and so missed the evening meal but the kitchen staff had left a cold supper for us after that things just got better!
Fab all inclusive bar with quality named spirts and beers, if you want bottled items and some other drinks are not included but only cost a £1 extra, hot drinks all day long and the food well we have stayed in much more expensive hotels and the food hasnt been as good. Well presented, hot food, good selection and a smart, cleam modern dining room.

Our room had a sea view which does cost slightly more but it was worth it as we had a lovely views, plenty of space, hot water and very, very warm, clean towels daily too.

The entertainment was excellent and again far exceeded our expectations, the resident compare/DJ Ryan is worth a visit alone!

Most of the people we spoke to in the hotel had visited before, they told us that weekends can be noisier and a different crowd, the majority of guests were senior citizens but dont be fooled as they can certainly enjoy theirselves! All the staff are very helpful and the hotel is in ideal situation not too far from the town centre but far away from the noise etc.
If you want to be really picky the only fault is that evening meal finishes at 7.30pm so alittle early for us but its understandable as the entertainment starts at 8.00pm, also our room 112 was directly above the cabaret room so very noisy till at least 11.45pm, not a problem for us but for some one who wanted to go to bed early not ideal.

All in all we will certainly return in the future for a midweek break, if we can get in as the hotel soon gets booked up. The trip really did change my whole attitude towards Blackpool, the added bonus of sunshine did help too.

So if you want a great little break with good meals, great all inclusive bar and excellent entertainment dont hesitate to stay at The Claremont.

Room Tip: Room 112 noisy at night until the entertainment stops.

Me my Wife Mother in Law and Sister in Law came to the Hotel for a weekend on the alinclusive deal.............and what a deal it was £125 a person for food accommodation entertanment and drinks and also Saturday lunch if you wanted it.
Rooms we where in where on the 1st floor and was easy to get too, the rooms where very clean and warm, veiw not great but who spends time looking out windows !!.
Entertainment on both the Friday night and the Saturday night was fantastic, great singers, and comedians, and the compares on each night kept the show moving.
Food only one thing to say was first class, a big thank you has to go to our waiter for the weekend Joe who was very smart in his appearance, friendly and very good at his job.
From first entering the hotel the staff where great and nothing seem to much for any of them the bar staff worked very hard and not once did we have to queue....I can't thank all the staff enough for making our weekend, we would recommend this Hotel to anyone, and we will return to this Hotel as soon as we can.

Room Tip: Only tip is try get there early make sure you can get a parking space as it can get crowded And ig...

Arrived at the hotel about 12:30 for a weekend with a bunch of friends from the Henllan Caravan Park in Wales. Although we were quickly booked in by the friendly reception staff we were told that we could not have our key to the room until 2:00 PM. Went to the bar where several of our gang had already congregated. Although the weekend was all inclusive we were informed the deal did not start until 3:00 PM. Me and the wife were hungry so got a sandwich and drink anyway which was produced fairly quickly. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions in the past and have always found it very nice. This weekend was no exception. Rooms are typical Blackpool hotel rooms. Sea view are the best. The food I personally would describe as very good. The entertainment is , I think, average. Children are catered for at the begining of the evening. We all tried the pool area situated in the basement of the hotel and enjoyed it very much. All in all it was a very enjoyable weekend. One critisism, my wife only drinks Malibu. For some obscure reason this was the only drink not on the all inclusive list of drinks. A bit petty I think. Will definately return to this hotel again.

Room Tip: Sea view are best.
