Stayed here with a coach tour with myself my partner and his 16year old daughter . When we booked we were told we would be in separate rooms though found out they do have family rooms . Rooms small but clean en suite consists of a toilet, shower and basin but again small . While there we had an evening meal and breakfast . Evening meal was 3 courses we all had the soup which was good with the bread , 2nd course myself and my partner had the Turkey which as someone who worked in catering i know was a frozen sliced in gravy( very bland) potato croquette which didnt go veg was served in a container but no extra gravy . No sauces were offered to accompany this. my partners daughter had salad which looked fine even though she said it didnt taste right , she then had a pear dessert which was pears cream ice cream and wafer bit rubbish when the other alternatives were ice cream or a saucer of cheese and biscuits . Very dissapointed with this. Reception staff very helpful and always had a smile no matter how busy they were . Breakfast was a whole lot better than the evening course . We were asked if we wanted sauces with our Full english we all agreed but they never materialised . Other hotels who we have stayed with have always had sachets or bottles on the tables.
The hotel is situated up the North Beach and as it is on the front i am sure you get great views if you request the rooms at the front . the fire doors do bang shut rather than close gently so again this needs to look at . Looking at the notice board this hotel does a lot of Entertainment weekends so they really need to invest in bigger rooms rather than more rooms , bath sheets rather than little bath towels , and the extra touches like being asked if everything is ok with your meals . Would i stay here again only for one night and i wouldnt stay for evening meal .

Room Tip: Request a room on a high floor so you cannot hear the noise from the entertainment lounge .

We stayed at this hotel after finding out our booked hotel next door had done a runner, i have to say this is the worse hotel i have ever stayed in, The rooms are very outdated and dirty, we had no hot water on fri, sat, sun or mon after reporting it several times and the shower didn't even work properly it kept sticking on.
We had meals included in the price we paid but what we were served i wouldn't even feed to a dog, The portions were not even suitable for children.
Our allocated table in the dinning room was right behind the kitchen door and everytime someone came out from kitchen they would knock the chair and on a few occasions they dropped the trays of food they were carrying, For some reason the hotel staff thought that this was our fault.

I'm going to stop now as i'm getting again just writing this, i would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: A good budget hotel.but if you prefer bigger rooms, pay the small supplement, and choose aroon with a...

hotel is in need of redecorating very shabby and dirty and so are the rooms showers not working
if you need a good nights sleep do not have sea view on first floor as the nightly disco is so loud sleep is impossible they could also do with a new chef food was either under or overcooked
would never stay there again

Room Tip: 3 floor if you want sea view and less noise from entertainment

The bed sheets and towels were very clean and provided daily if needed. The food was lovely and hot and a good choice of breakfast. the hotel is good value for money and i would defiantly visit the hotel again without a doubt.

Terrible weather -but hotel and our room were cosy & warm. PVC D/glazed windows kept out draughts and outside noise. Bedding and towels spotlessly clean. Reasonably new carpet improved appearance of the room which could be better with a picture or two on the walls. No spiders.Shower room small, but shower worked well. Electric points close to mirror for us ladies who like to blow-dry and tong our hair We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, everything was well cooked particularly the braised steak, breast of chicken so large I could not eat all of it. Salads excellent and the hand carved ham has to be tried. For the price this hotel ticked most of the boxes for me.

Room Tip: I would say if you get a terrible room ask if you can change.
