Di and Ron are lovely, very welcoming people. they are very helpful and are brilliant with the children.....especially Ron, our two children (15mth and 5yr) thought he was brilliant!! The hotel is situated in a lovely quieter area and is lovely from the outside!! although the street is quieter than others we have stayed on, we prefeared it as it was a beautiful street and free from people visiting blackpool on drunken weekends away! it was practically a stones through from the sea front and in excellent postion for the central pier, sealife, tower and pleasure beach! The hotel is tastefully decorated and NOT full of all the useless chintzy stuff other B&B's are full of. The games room is brilliant for children around 5+ with 3 p.c's and an xbox and it is right next to the bar and you can see straight in to it via a wall of windows! We stayed in room 1 and it was really good, it was spacious for our 15mth old son to be able to toddle about and our 5yr old even had a double bed to himself which he loved.....the room was also really tastefully decorated! Ron makes a mean fry up...and excellent poached eggs on toast....the quality of the ingrediants are brilliant and they were also really accomodating for the children. Most B&B's dont offer children a cooked breakfast or even charge you extra....but this wasnt a prob when our 5yr old son requested one!! will def stay at the jesmond dene everytime we visit blackpool!
