We stayed in the colwyn for three nights and couldn't fault it , lovely breakfast staff were really nice and friendly and the kids made good use of the play station in the games room .Rooms were clean and we had nice view of the front from our window . Also thought the hotel is in a good location with a tram stop right out front to take you up and down the beachfront .

the hotel was booked for my birthday weekend.
the owners and staff made us very welcome and pampered to our needs with no hesitation.
the hotel bar was very lively with bar games provided for customers to entertain themselves.
the prices in the hotel bar was very reasonable with a good selection of drinks.
breakfast was very good with alll tastes catered for.
the decor is getting a little dated but was told that improvements are planned.
only downside was the walk down to the centre of blackpool, but there is a tram stop oppersite if you don,t fancy walking
overall was a great weekend

Nice Hotel room with a lovely sea view. Breakfast and Evening meal very good . Staff very nice and helpful.Tram stops outside of hotel. For us it was good because we could bring our Puppy Training Guide Dog. Only downside decor could be updated. But would stay again because of staff and location.

Room Tip: Rooms in the front with a Sea View

this is one of my favourite hotels and we visit every year. room nice and clean, breakfast usual high standard. I was very pleased to find they now do evening meals, very nice. The same staff as last time, friendly and helpful. The only negative was the lift was out of order. The hotel is in walking distance of the water park and pleasure beach and yards from the beach. We will be back next year.

We stayed at the Colwyn for just one night, we found the hotel very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was compact but had everything we needed especially as we were only staying for one night. The breakfast was fine, I have eaten better but I have definitely eaten worse!
A couple of down sides: The drinks in the bar where very expensive which is a shame as we would of spent more if they were more reasonable. The shower in our room was non existant, the water just dribbled out of the shower head. The lift was out of order, they said it had only just broke and they were waiting for the repair man but we got the impression that they had been spouting the same line for months. I wouldn’t normally grumble but we were on the third floor! The hotel in my opinion needs an update.
Overall it was ok, we all agreed that we would stay again.
