“Cut above budget hotels”

Everything you need in a budget hotel, great, comfy bed, reasonable shower, clean enough, great breakfast policy, convenient pub like food in restaurant. Very convenient location for both the pleasure beach and the water park.

We had a one night stay here recently, we arrived at 10am I went into reception expecting to have to pay for parking until check-in time but I was given a pass and told we could park straight away no charge. The staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. The room was fine, nice and clean with a double and two single beds for the kids. The bed was very comfy, we had a great sleep. We had the breakfast which was lovely, in the past I've found Premier Inn breakfasts just ok and nothing special but this was really nice, juicy sausages and plenty to choose from. Staff at breakfast in the restaurant were lovely too, very friendly and polite. There is a garage right next door so this was handy for a few bits before we set off home. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the pleasure beach area where we jumped on the tram to the town centre, we bought the family day ticket for £9 you can use it as many times as you like which was great value for the four of us. I would highly recommend this hotel, we will be back!

Stayed here with my son for a few nights in Feb. Had I realised how far out it was I wouldn't have bothered. Cost us £7.50 in taxi from train station and was a fair walk down to the front. The room was smaller than previous stays but of the highest cleanliness. The food was better than expected so that was a bonus we didn't have to walk about to find tea. Restaurant staff very friendly and chatty. Family room above us - had children banging about at all hours :-( Reception staff not very engaging whilst checking out, and as I work for this chain I know all too well what staff should be saying to guests. Don't think we'd stay here again, which is a shame really. On a positive note: you are able to open the windows for fresh air!

Stayed here a few times now and the main plus points is that it's close enough to the front/pleasure beach, friendly staff in both Premier inn and Brewers fayre, great breakfasts, never a problem getting a free parking space, good showers, my 12 year old son loves staying here and can't wait to return...Good value for money but a shame you can never get this at some of the rates the other Premier inns do and one minor issue which is just personal to me is that there is a damp linen aroma around the place which is just a personal pet hat of mine but this comes with a hotel that is doing laundry daily i suppose...well worth a stay if you are visiting Blackpool.

Arrived 6 April for 2 nights booked a family room. Having stayed at other Premier Inns the rooms here were half the size of other ones . The rooms need deep cleaning and the beds were awful. We complained and staff were great. Breakfast was fantastic. As a minimum they need new mattresses especially on kids beds and to clean hairs in bathroom

Stayed for two nights in April 2014. I cannot praise the staff enough, they were great - nothing was too much trouble and always friendly ! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and very little background noise or noise from within the hotel. The Brewers Fayre restaurant next door is also good for Breakfast and Dinner, and of course very child friendly. The hotel is easy to find although the last few yards into the car-park can be confusing (go past the shell garage on your left). It is approximately a 10 minute walk (with children) to the seafront and approximately 40 minutes in total walk to the Blackpool Tower along the seafront. The approach to the seafront is not very picturesque but gets you right to the Pleasure Beach (if that is your thing!)... Highly recommended.
