“Extremely helpful staff and rooms really nice!”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

We stayed here again for 3 nights for the second consecutive year. Travelled from Lincs for the Illunination Switch On.

Car parking is free and is such an easy location to the Pleasure Beach, Waterpark and more. Reception staff and cleaners are so friendly and helpful which makes all the difference. We requested a certain room for reduced noise levels etc ad being allocated this was no trouble at all from the initial booking in February. Superb Premier Inn, wouldn't hesitate in recomming at all!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for an 'end-of-summer' type holiday. We originally planned to arrive on the Monday and return home on the Friday, however, we enjoyed our stay that much we stayed an extra night and ended up returning home on the Saturday.

The train station is conveniently located at the end of the car park so it's only a short walk from the train station to the building. Our train journey to Blackpool was very stressful and exhausting, the members of staff on the reception were lovely and helpful and very sympathetic to us.

We were allocated Room 22 - as this is at the end of the block (on the first floor) it was bigger than the average double room, which was lovely. The television, which had standard Freeview, had a cap on the volume level (at 30%) which would have been fine had we been in a normal sized room, but as the room was bigger, and the bed was further away from the television, we had trouble hearing it. As soon as we made the staff aware of this somebody came and upped our cap to 40% which solved the problem, and was fantastic.

Although we did find breakfast (optional to include in the price with the room or pay day-to-day) rather expensive, the wide range of selection that was on offer was impressive, and you could get your money out of it due to the 'all you can eat' buffet.

The room itself was incredibly clean and the cleaners found a convenient time to clean your room whenever you're out during the day.

Every single issue, big or small, that we had during our stay was made so much easier by the friendly staff who fixed any problems that we had.

It was only a short walk (10 minutes) to the sea-front and the Pleasure Beach, which meant that we were out in the seaside every day, which was fantastic. There is an Esso garage right outside of the Premier Inn which has essentials.

As we enjoyed our holiday so much, we wanted to stay an extra night. The only downside of our entire stay was the price of a room for a Friday night - £92! We did think this was rather pricey for a Premier Inn. The member of staff on reception went out of his way to juggle things around to allow us to stay the extra night, though, which we thought was extremely good of him, saving us the hassle of having to pack everything, locate another B&B, then get settled there and unpack, only to re-pack everything the next morning.

Apart from that, our entire stay with Premier Inn was brilliant and we would highly recommend it to anyone who's in between deciding.

Thank you to all staff who made our stay so pleasant!

Room Tip: Room 22 was fantastic!

This hotel deserves the trip advisor of the year award they have recently one. The hotel is in a great location just on the edge of the main Blackpool attractions. It is approximately 5-10 mins to the pleasure beach. The hotel is always spotlessly clean and we had a great nights sleep all week. Towels were fresh and changed when we wanted. Our room was cleaned daily. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and free. I also would highly recommend the Brewers Fayre next door that offers all you can eat breakfasts and a great range of food for evening meals inclusive of all you can eat evening buffets. They children's menu is also productive as not everything contained chips. You will not be disappointed to stay here. Highly recommend for the whole family
