“Cheap and impressive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

I have just had my first experience of Premier Inn. I will definitely use Premier Inn again. Arrived at about 2pm on Sunday. We had 2 rooms booked for a one night stay. We were checked in swiftly offered evening meal or breakfast then were given our room keys and off we went. Only gripe was, there was no lift and we were on the 2nd floor. Our bags were quite heavy. We were offered help from staff however. I found the staff very happy and only too glad to help. There were snack and drinks machines available if you needed anything. The rooms were fabulous. Bright and clean, very nice decor. Bathroom was lovely, but the flush on the loo was rather noisy and the water ran quite slowly into the sink, but the bath and shower were great. Lovely big flat screen TV on the wall with freeview channels, hairdryer kettle and coffee sugar tea and milk were all available. The bed was quite high and there was a choice of 2 types of pillows. The head houskeeper was very nice, extremely helpful and obviously got great pleasure from her job. I believe her name was Lynn. All the staff were lovely and nothing seemed to be any trouble for them. I was very impressed. Thank You Premier Inn

Room Tip: If you have heavy luggage ask for a ground floor room as there is no lift, although the staff are mo...

Myself, my husband and my sister stayed at this hotel for one night and were very impressed. There was ample free parking, we were checked in quickly and both rooms were pristine. The only downside with this hotel was the lack of a lift which was a problem for my sister and I as we both have problems climbing stairs and our rooms were on the second floor, so four flights of stairs to climb! The receptionist offered assistance with our luggage, however we didn't like to say that the problem was our dodgy legs, not the bags! Head of housekeeping, Lynne, was particularly attentive and nothing was a trouble to her and the other staff we came into contact with were very pleasant too. The rooms were well-equipped and there were plenty of pillows and towels. A hairdryer was provided with lighted mirror above it and there was a large flat-screen TV on the wall opposite the bed. The beds are very comfortable but a tad high for shorter people like me! The doors have a new entry system whereby you just have to swipe the keycard near the lock instead of having to insert it - a much better system than the old one where you had to insert the card into a slot. The keycard is used to activate the electricity so when you leave the room and remove the card the electricity goes off, which is good for the environment. You can get 30 mintues free wi-fi or pay £3.00 for 24 hours which I think is good value compared to some hotels. All in all an excellent hotel which we'd certainly stay in again, however next time we will request a downstairs room!

Room Tip: If you have problems with stairs, request a ground floor room.

Stayed at the Premier Inn Bispham for two nights.
You normally know exactly what you are getting with Premier Inn - but this place is great.
The staff are outstanding, extremely helpful - special mention goes to Lyn head housekeeper and Dan who works in the Red Lion pub who was also extremely helpful.
The rooms are spotless - absolutely spotless, I couldn't find fault.

If you going to Blackpool then stay here - you won't be dissapointed.

I've stayed in a few Premier inns, all of which have been good, however this is by far the best. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was pristine, everything was new and spotlessly clean. It was well kitted out, a mirror above the hairdryer was nice as so often hotels don't have this. The bathroom was very well lit and a large mirror with shelf to put all your toiletries. Lovely comfy bed and large flat screen tv also. My only criticism is that the wi-fi is only free for 30 mins. I do think that charging for wi-fi is a bit mean.

Stayed at this hotel with my mum, sister and auntie as we were visiting Blackpool to see Funnygirls but didn't want to stay in the centre of town. This hotel was perfect for us. The rooms were big, modern and extremely clean. There was a large flat screen TV on the wall and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a great nights' sleep here. There is a lovely pub next door where we had an evening meal and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff on reception were absolutely lovely, all of them were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. A special thank you to Lisa on reception who was great and made our stay extra special. A big thank you to all the staff, we would have no hesitation whatsoever recommending this hotel or staying here again.

This is a very modern and clean hotel, near enough to the front of Blackpool, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The room was ample in size, we had a family room which was very comfortable. The bathroom was very modern and clean.

Whilst staying here, on our second night, our 5 year old son became unwell, despite being 1 o clock in the morning the night staff member, whose name I don't recall, was very helpful. It was no trouble for him to provide clean bedding, towels etc....he was even stood at the door with his rubber gloves on ready to clean up!!

I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Blackpool. The staff are exceptional and make you feel very welcome.

Thank you for a pleasurable stay.
