We booked 3 nights at the New Guilderoy after seeing a fantastic offer and reading the wonderful reviews on here. They are all true!
Simon and Rhona are a lovely couple who really make you feel that it is important to them that you have a great holiday with them. They offer friendly and really useful advice on places to go, where to eat, etc. Our bedroom was not huge but had everything we needed including a wall mounted large flat screen tv and very comfortable bed. There are many extra touches, for instance a selection of daily newspapers in the lounge, and several magazines, ironing facilities, hairdryer, fan, refreshments and toiletries in the bedrooms, and some also have a fridge. The whole hotel is full of wonderfully ornate furniture, soft furnishings, artifacts and ornaments, so much so that you see something new each time you enter a room. The restaurant/dining room is pleasant with plenty of space and the breakfasts and service are wonderful.
This hotel is at the north, quieter end of Blackpool and, although there is no car park, parking was easy. We found a space immediately outside the hotel and there were plenty of roadside spaces in the area.
I have no hesitation in recommending the New Guilderoy. Try it, you will not be disappointed.More
