We stayed here, again, in December for a couple of days whilst visiting relatives. We were made very welcome by Pat and Christine and our room was very clean and cosy. The breakfast here is delicious, ample portions and always hot. We plan to stay here again soon. An excellent hotel.

found the collingwood on line night before departing for blackpool for a 4 day trip before the december madness, what a joy, on arriving pat and christine greeted us like we had known them for 30 years. there was nothing they couldnt do for us, my friend had a stroke 6 mths ago so it was good for him and the owners could not have been nicer.rates were very good, breakfast a joy. rooms very comfortable great sleep. will definately be visting again and again. thanks pat and christine.

I think that the Collingwood at Blackpool is a very good hotel. The owners Pat and Christine make you so welcome. The hotel is very clean, excellent service and the food is great! I can't wait to go back again and give this hotel 10 out of 10.

Our,s was a long weekend in Blackpool, myself, husband, daughter and 2 grand-daughters, we had a great stay with Pat & Christine they made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble, The hotel was very clean and the standard was very high, I cannot understand the comment's made by ( Linda G ) over the kettle having to be plugged in on the floor, and if you look now on most holidays both home and abroad children 12 and over are classed as adults.
By the sound of things i would say that Linda G is a professional moaner and nowhere is up to standard. Keep up the good work Pat & Christine.

Room Tip: Room on the first floor was perfect !

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay at The Collingwood Hotel. Was made very welcome by the lovely owners Pat and Christine - the perfect hosts! Good food, great rooms and spotlessly clean. Looking forward to returning next year.

Ok well were do i start, following reading the last review i have stayed this weekend too at the collingwood to which myself and my very dear family of 15 do every year we make this a family traditional get together!!!. I also had the pleasure of staying twice under previous owners and I was quite disappointed when they left however, let me say this now...pat and Christine have set standards way above previous owners there attitude to the residents is impeccable, there hygiene standards are at the highest level, there food is absolutely quality(compliments to Christine ha ha sorry). The bar area is great yes draught beers have recently ended however the new style fridge in place is amazing every drink you can wish for, from top to bottom rooms,food,bar/prices(cheap) and staff are amazing the best run hotel ever stayed in, and even if I won the lottery i would still go to the Collingwood and forgive me I am a snob and very fussy where I stay, and anyone who reads this then my standards are very high to which pat and Christine tick all my boxes even above and beyond!!!!!! "judge this hotel for yourself trust me!!!! you will never look back.

Room Tip: pat and Christine will bend over backwards to make your visit to Blackpool an excellent one, recomme...

Have stayed here many times in the past but won't be returning after this weekend's visit. It's living on past glories from when Kevin & Elaine ran it a few years back. The current owners advertise draught beers on the website but haven't any, they have replaced it with a fridge which is very dear, in fact there are no prices displayed at all and the owner does everything through his back pocket and rounds prices to the nearest pound (upwards no doubt!). Many of the packeted breakfast cereals are way out of date, and this was the case last year too. Is he buying stuff on the cheap or something? The kettle in the bedroom has to stand on the carpet underneath the trouser press as there is no socket by the table where they put the kettle. Not very good health and safety for a family room, that. They also charge full price for 12 year old children. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone anymore, They have had long enough to sort their act out.
