Stayed two nights at The Tiffany Hotel Blackpool its a little old fashioned, but scores high points,in most areas.Reception was smooth and easy, although 4pm checking time is totally unacceptable, you lose almost a full days holiday!!! My single room was sea view (only £5 extra per night). This is where the old fashioned bit comes in.The room was small but acceptable whereas the bathroom was very small with shower, toilet and washbasin crowded into a 4' square space. The carpet in the room was grubby and very old, whereas the carpets in the hotel as a whole were quite new.
Breakfast is fantastic, buffet style with a truly massive choice, you just help yourself to as much as you want. The excellent evening meal consisted of 5 courses with choice of meat fish or vegetarian and is served to your table.
There is usually entertainment each evening, which was very good, spoiled by the temperature in the room,it was almost unbearable.
Overall I would give this Hotel my vote as somewhere I would try again, especially because of the price: 2 nights B&B and evening dinner, sea view, entertainment, all for £100.Thats hard to beat.

Room Tip: Ask for a bigger room on the front.

We stayed at the Tiffany's for one night. Took the sea view room and the view was great.
Parking is not easy, there is a small cramped parking area in front of the hotel. You have to leave your car key at reception as you are sure to be blocked in or blocking someone in.
The breakfast was OK.
The hotel is painted in pink which I thought was a bit strange but it looks very nice and distinct from the other side of town.

My wife and I were given a groupon voucher as a gift for the 5 course meal and entertainment. The food was quite nice but from looking at what others had the roast beef and the fish & chips looked like small portions, but as there were 5 courses there was enough to fill you up. The dessert I had was brandy snap with ice cream, squirty cream and just a few strawberries which was very nice. However the staff were a bit slow.

The entertainment was on the ground floor in the large bar. The young guy who did the bingo was also the singer who wasn’t too bad and did try his best but it was a bit like good karaoke really. The comedy drag act was quite good but all in all the entertainment was mainly for very old people.

The main problem was the bar area was soooo hot! The entertainer had a large fan on the stage to keep cooler and there was a fan behind the bar for the bar staff but everybody else had to sweat! I asked the bar staff if the air con was broken and was told it was. So I asked if they could open some windows and was told there were none in the room. This was a lie as when I was outside I noticed 4 windows in the room. However as they were at the top part of the window and the blinds were down to stop the sun glaring in, as well as the fact that the seats next to the window were occupied then it would have been awkward to ask people to move to then open the windows so basically they just fobbed me off with a lie. The windows should have been opened before everyone came into the bar, not good.

After asking about the air con it did come on for about 2 minutes then went off. I mentioned this to a man outside while smoking and he said the air con hasn’t worked for the last 3 years because it’s expensive to fix. I’m sure they can afford to fix it as the groupon deal cost £40 for 2 persons which was expensive in my opinion because you get free entertainment in places around Blackpool. The people staying in the hotel get the entertainment free, so £20 per person for the meal was overpriced.

Room Tip: bring your own fan when it's hot

We stayed here with friends last weekend for their 70s weekend and were more than happy with the hotel. The rooms were well furnished and clean with smart ensuites. The staff were great and very helpful, food was lovely, and the service excellent.

My only tip to the hotel would be to invest in some fans for the guests rooms. Our room was too hot to get a good nights sleep and, being Blackpool, it was impossible to leave the window open at night because of the noise.

Just arrived back from the 70s weekend, first time I had been to the hotel but my friends had been many times before. They gave the hotel, rooms, food etc a glowing report so Tiffany's had a lot to live up to ! From start to finish the hotel was fantastic couldn't find fault with anything, I would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to other friends. Well done Tiffany's keep up the good work !

I call it the pink marshmallow as it is painted pink on the outside. We spent 3 nights here for a convention which was brilliant, the entertainment was excellent. The Breakfast had everything you would want and plenty of it. Dinners were very good with a great choice of menu, the waiting staff very pleasant and helpful, the only thing that let this place down was the damp smell in the bedroom, I was on the second floor at the back of the hotel which was clean enough shame about that smell which came from the shower room, also the room needs some work done it is a very old building, it let the hotel down in my estimations, I must say that passing a bedroom that had the door open for cleaning looked very nice and that was facing the sea front shame I missed out on that one. I would recommend that you ask about your room before booking. On the whole it was pleasant enough.

Room Tip: Room 231 can hear the music until 12.30ish which is not too bad as its holiday time
