Rang and got a late booking & was very pleased I did. Pepe is great with customers there was also caberet from an old queen that did his best to spoil everybodie's night. We know he ordered veggi & got chicken but Pepe did try his best to placate the guy but he was after an argument & also took exception to other diners who told him to behave. His & his friends language was very offensive to all in restraunt. Never mind the house red wine is excellent the stuffed mushrooms superb & special pizza the salame is so tasty forget the old queen just trust regulars we have been at least 9 times this year as have many others. this year fantastic. In a nutshell we and the table next to us from Rugby

Went tonight after struggling to get in and hearing such rave reviews. The place is small and bijou but instead of low lighting and intamacy it's bright and very much like being sat in a shop. When we arrived despite booking a table the restaurant was still waiting for our table to come available and we had to sit on a Pugh in the door way. The wine list is limited just 3 reds a cab sauv a primitivo and a chianti although the one we chose was admittedly good (primitivo). We had olives and garlic bread whilst ordering the olives where not brilliant and typical of any you can buy in a high street supermarket. My food was ok the pâté starter was good but main course un inspired I had a Greek salad covered in mustard and my partners meal was completely wrong and not what he ordered. Whilst there the couple on the next table eloped into the same toilet whilst In between courses and nothing was said. It seems to have a loyal following which is lovely to see however I am still trying to work out why. In short its un deserving of number 1 spot in blackpool and really should be a little further down this very long list

We are sorry you and your partner were disappointed with your visit. Customer service is very important to us and we use all feedback to constantly improve our service.
With respect to your table not being ready - As we make a note of what time customers arrive we are therefore aware that you arrived at 7.45pm and were seated by 8pm, the time of your reservation, and you were then served your wine.
We apologised immediately regarding the mix up with your food. This was a genuine mistake which we apologised for and offered to rectify. You seemed unwilling to accept our apology but I hope that our gesture of only charging you £30 of your £75 bill, for the 2 bottles of wine at the end of your evening, again reflects our genuine regret at our mistake.
With regards to your comments about the limited choice of wine. As you can appreciate only being a small restaurant being able to seat 18-20 people our choice of wine needs to be relative and we cannot facilitate stocking a large variety but, have ensured that the selection we have is of a good quality.
Being one of the top restaurants in Blackpool on Trip Advisor is not something we have written but the comments made by other satisfied customers.
I feel that your comments regarding our other customers are completely unnecessary.
We are always open to any suggestions to improve our service but we will not accept our customers and staff being insulted.

Ambrosinis is simply fabulous. The staff are attentive, efficient and very pleasant and the chef comes out of the kitchen to talk to the customers whenever he gets chance. Probably why it has been voted the best restaurant in Blackpool and has only 1 bad review.. It is well known within Blackpool that there are only 20 seats and 2 sittings but it is always worth telephoning to get a last minute cancellation if you are a small party. If you have any party over 2 then you are chancing being able to get in especially at weekends. The food is great and the prices are very reasonable - 2 mains, garlic bread & bottle of red wine £28!. Highly recommended

Visited here early on Saturday evening before a trip to the theatre. It was perfect. Great food, friendly Italian staff and lovely house wine at a really reasonable price. Will visit again when we have more time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Top notch

We were lucky enough to be able to book the last table in this small restaurant of 20 covers. The owner, who took the booking, was very pleasant and accommodating considering the short notice.
The restaurant is in a very convenient location with plenty of free street parking around it. On arrival we were warmly greeted and showed to our table towards the back. This restaurant is certainly 'intimate' though is in no way cramped. It was very comfortable and very 'real'. The atmosphere was superb.
We ordered a bottle of Prosecco. Just right. We shared a starter of 'Funghi Ripieni' - Stuffed Garlic Mushrooms with Garlic and Cheese. Huge portion and absolutely delicious. If I were ever to find myself on Death Row (hopefully unlikley), this would be my final request. Just the right amount of everything. Perfect.
For main course we both chose 'Pollo Al Pepe' - Chicken Breast in a Peppercorn Sauce. A healthy serving of chicken breast on perfectly cooked vegetables / potatoes. The sauce was creamy and quite powerful. Lovely.
Desserts were just never going to happen! No room! We did spot some very impressive dishes on the table next to us though and were almost tempted.
We finished with coffee which was served with little almond biscuits. The chef appeared and talked to us. Like the rest of the staff he was so pleasant and welcoming (especially as I'm a Southerner!).
Lovely people, Lovely food and Perfect company ....... I was with the Most Beautiful Woman in the World ....... and we WILL go back one day! It was a PERFECT evening.
