My five friends and I found the Lemon Top thanks to other reviews on Trip Advisor. We were in Blackpool for a Sunday-Monday trip staying at the Travelodge by the Pleasure Beach. Looking for somewhere to have breakfast on the Monday morning this instantly appealed due to its proximity to where we were staying and reviews of friendly service and great home-cooked food.
We were not disappointed! Having two tables pushed together for the group we ordered a range of breakfasts from standard to large full-english, toast and I requested a veggie cooked breakfast. The food was all served hot and there was lots of friendly, amiable chat from the staff. The food was lovely and incredibly reasonably priced. No more than £4 for anything and tea, freshly made coffee, sparkling water and juice were also brought to our table.
The only very very minor downside was the table place-mats. They look a little tired and could do with being replaced but I gladly recommend this lovely, little independent cafe to anyone staying in Blackpool. I would definitely go back and so would the rest of the group.
