Very good hostess, we arrived early and this wasn't a problem. We even had a parking space!
We had booked into a family room, it had the main door opening into a small corridor, the kids room was bunk beds with its own en-suite and then the adult room with the coffee making facilities and a small but nice en-suite. We stayed for 2 nights, breakfast on both mornings were great, good quality and quantity.
Good clean B&B, in a really good location, near to the hustle and bustle but off the main road so it was quiet. Would return without hesitation. Thank you x

We found out about shananagens on late rooms and after checking out previous reviews on trip advisor we booked it straight away. There were 9 in our party 5 adults and 4 children so we needed 2 family rooms for 2 nights. On arrival our hosts were there to greet us on check in and ensured we got parked as parking was a nightmare. It felt cosy and our rooms were great to accomodate all of us. It was our daughters 8th birthday the next day so we had a lot of stuff with us, decorations, cake, pressies. After hitting the pleasure beach the whole of Saturday we needed a drink at the bar and some space to celebrate Katies birthday. Nothing was any trouble. Sarah kept the bar open for us although we were over an hour late. She set up a table to accomadate all of us and let us run a bit mad with cake and candles. Sarah and her friends joined in too. Breakfast was full english and cooked to perfection. Guest house in great location as well in the middle of everything. thanks Sarah and Ken we had a great September holiday.

After finding this hotel on late rooms.com it was chosen purely on location which was in the middle between the pleasure beach and the tower and the fact it was the hotel at the top of the page and the price was the cheapest! After pulling up at the hotel for the bank holiday weekend we were greeted with a car parking space saved for us for out stay! Room 1 was lovely nice comfy bed and bunk beds in separate room both with en suites! Guest house was very clean and breakfast was lovely well presented and after the kids were fussy that made no odds! Would definitely stop here again it's not the biggest guest house But would highly recommend for families on a short break to Blackpool!

This is the place to stay in Blackpool if you have kids, don't bother looking for anywhere else. Sarah and Ken are a lovely couple who made us feel so welcome, there were a few tears when it was time to leave. The family room we stayed in was perfect, a room for the grown ups and a room for the kids. The kids had their own sink and shower room and a TV/DVD combo so there was peace for us. Breakfasts were delicious, the monster sausage is a meal in itself! Sarah and Ken couldn't do enough to help even lending us a much appreciated buggy for the week and saving us a parking space. We didn't use the car all week as we were in walking distance of the town and the pleasure beach but when we got too tired the tram is 2 minutes from the hotel. A wonderful holiday, absolutely first class, can't wait to visit again.

Room Tip: Rooms are beautifully decorated, the new family room with the four poster bed looks gorgeous

We recently stayed in this guest house for 2 nights and were very happy with our stay there. The family room we were given had a double bed in one room and a single and bunk bed in the other. Both rooms were a good size and very clean although the bathroom was on the small size. The host Sarah was extremely helpful and even kept 2 parking spaces right outside the b&b for us. At breakfast time the choice of cereals and yoghurts was plentiful, the full cooked breakfast had lots of choice and toast virtually unlimited. The guest house is ideally placed for the pleasure beach, the tower, the beach & shops. We will certainly use this guest house again if we are down in Blackpool and would recommend it to anybody with a family looking for good, clean and well kept accommodation

We stayed for two nights this April. A friendly welcome awaited and the rooms were basic but spotlessly clean, main room spacious and we could use wifi.
We had a coeliac and two vegetarians in our party and were all well catered for. We were really well looked after and couldn't have asked for more.
The children loved it and we will definitely stay again. Would recommend to friends.

Great place to stay, location ideal, between Blackpool Tower/nightlife and Pleasure Beach.

Room good size, for me, hubby and 4 kids, we had lovely room, with double bed for us and bunk bed and single bed in attached room (little 2 top and tailed in bottom bunk) extremely clean and cosy room, ensuite, small but perfectly maintained and usable, tv, tea/coffee facilities lovely, bedding was luxurious.
Sarah the host was extremely welcoming. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice and kids treated brilliantly by Sarah, nothing was too much trouble for them :o) Communal area/bar was tastefully decorated and pleasure to be in.
We would definately return to this guesthouse.
