Spotlessly clean modern restaurant with attentive staff and fantastic food. I chose the prawn puri as a starter and was not disappointed, it was one of the best I have ever tasted. Our main courses
were equally tasty. The Blue Diamond was recommended to me by the hotel owner as the best in Blackpool and I have no reason to doubt this. I would love to eat there again.

Had this recommended by a Blackpool fan when we vivited Bloomfield Road for Barnsley's match there. Apparently, Jonathan Ross had been and gave it a good review on his chat show so we expected it to be really busy. It was but we went early to get a table and were not disappointed. So if you're looking for a good Indian in the 'Pool - go here

Decided to treat the kids but to be honest, I wish I hadn't bothered. Maybe it is just me, but no matter what I order, and no matter where it is, I expect to get value for money and flavoursome food. I always focus on quality, not quantity. I ordered 3 main meals, 1 rice, 1 chips and a nan bread. Cost £28. All meals were chicken, although I dont know what type of chicken. You could tell it was pre-cooked as it was tough to eat and lacked flavour and the sauces which accompanied them also lacked flavour and consistency. I really cant see what people are raving on about here. All I can assume if that they are used to eating average food. I have had better tasting curry from Sainsburys. I certainly wont be going back and I will be telling everyone I know not to bother too.

We live in the Fylde area and so knew the main road it was on. This area, Highfield Rd has a number of different restaurants and bistros so competition is fierce however the Blue Diamond steps up to the mark no problem. It is a cosy modern restaurant with friendly staff and manager who takes time out to chat to you at the end. The food was marvelous, all freshly cooked and served in good time and not rushed. Portions were generous no skimping on quality and ingredients here, I had the lamb dupiaza which was excellent and the nans were superb, this is always a good sign. Next time I'll try one of the specials of which there are many and not only that if you give them maybe a days notice they will make any meal you like if they can, I'm going to think of something for them to do. If you are holidaying in Blackpool look for the No 11 or 68 bus heading south ie towards Preston and get off at the Farmers Arms, which in itself is a great pub, then turn left down Highfield Rd about 5 mins walk from the bus stop to the restaurant. Well worth a try as in fact are most of the restaurants on Highfield Rd. Enjoy.

Had a lovely meal. Surroundings and decor were top class. The onion bhaji was excellent, great chapati and my lamb samba was excellent. Not sure why I haven't given it 5 stars
