Blackpool has certainly deteriorated since I last visited. Leave the great new promenade and the whole place seems run down and very very shabby.
We visited last week - mixed feelings about this hotel . New, clean, modern. Mix up with room meant we had a fair wait but complimentary drink soothed that over. Waste bin in bathroom was not emptied at all. Main problem - rowleys restaurant. Breakfast - ordered poached egg, tomatoes and mushrooms I was served one half of a tomato and the other half was on my partners plate!! Ten (counted them) of the smallest cold button mushrooms ever.The egg was raw inside and uneatable. I simply mentioned that it was not very satisfactory. The following morning order same with a fried egg - again just one half of a tomato - you have to ask for everything - toast please, another cup of tea please........(no tea or coffee pots) and since there was only one girl waiting on it was very poor. We misundersdood the deal and had dinner on the second day (it was not included) my partner had a chicken dish which was excellent. I had slab of beef which was two thirds gristle .All in all nice hotel. pleasant staff just the glitches with the restaurant need sorting out. Not alone on this.... next table to us returned the whole breakfast uneaten.

We stayed here while our house was getting a new kitchen fitted. The staff, the ambience, the decor were all fantastic. Rowleys restaurant is a must as well, we unfortunately only ate in here once but we will definitely make it a regular meeting point. Well done to all of you for making our time with you so stress free and relaxing.

Stayed at this hotel over the bank holiday weekend as a last minute chance of destination as weather was too nice to not take advantage of it.
Booked on line for a double room, wasnt sure about the appearance of the hotel but location was what we wanted.
Check in receptionist was very helpful and friendly and so was the guy wasnt sure his role but very smart and friendly ( Scottish I think )
Hotel smelt fresh and clean but however its only ten months old so should really be like this standard.
Room was spotless and of a decent size and have everything you require for your stay. Towels!! the best bath towels Ive used in a hotel, I could almost wrap mine round my body twice.
Breakfast we were sat over looking the pitch which if your a football fan would enjoy the view. Was disappointed in the meat on the breakfast as was hard as if it has been sat around in a hot plate till used.
I will recommend and use this hotel again.
