Im not usually one for writing reviews, but i feel i must on this occasion such was the superb
way we were looked after by jo and hamish howitt. What a lovely family who really make you feel as they have known you for years, Jo is the perfect hostess(and a wonderful cook) and cannot do enough for you including making a packed lunch for us and giving us extra towels when we went swimming, the roms are clean and very comfortable, and hamish is a laugh a minute
I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this great hotel and friendly family to anyone

We have stayed at Alfies 3 times in the last 8 months and are looking forward to going a 4th time in the summer. Run by a lovely family, Jo, Hamish and the children who make you feel, like part of the family too. Rooms are well equiped, clean, tidy and comfortable. Breakfast is always tasty and well presented, not served too early either. If you like lively yet friendly atmosphere's Alfies is deffinately the place to be!

This hotel is very welcoming, The lady Jo who ownes the hotel couldnt do enough for you, While 8 girls stayed in the hotel she put 8 beds in one big room for us all so that we was all together, She rang us taxi's when we needed to go anywhere. Jo gave us a discount card where we got money off taxi's when we got one. In the morning she made us a jug of freash orange and was offering to do us a cooked breakfast aswell, All free of charge. Joe Is a very polite and kind woman and makes you feel very welcome. I would definatley go back to the hotel :) :) :)

Entrance didn't look too bad when we arrived. Room's-no where proper to hang ur clothes there where little silver fish in our shower cubicle, only 1 hand towel for 4 of us (good job we took r own) on the plus side the bedding was clean. Dusty floors.Dining room- well cluttered with washing on pool table, hoover, ironing board even paint roller on one of the corner shelves..Breakfast-very cheap cereals, cooked breakfast-well out of the. 7 of us who stayed not 1 of us cleared our plate, very greasy!!!! Wouldn't recommend it too any one..I know we only stayed the night but for what we paid we expected much better quality!!!

Good experience only there for one night as I had to see someone in the area. Very warm welcome by Jo and an excellent breakfast. Two lovely children one played the piano and the other the guitar which was lovely and this added to the nice experience. Talking parrot with a Scottish Accent which was amazing. Would definately stay again if I had to go back to Blackpool. Parking was ok but suspect in the Summer it would be more difficult although I was told that there is parking around the back for two cars.

Room Tip: There was a big Family room on the ground floor that will take about 8 people, Thought this was a b...
