Stayed at the Windsor Carlton for 2 nights over a weekend. We we're placed in a family room which was a bit on the small size for a family but it was okay for me and my husband. The en-suite was okay if not a little drafty the vent on the window was broke so it was always open just thankfull it didn't get too cold. The room was advertised as having luxury bedding it was just white cotton. Every pillow and the quilt were feather which would poke through and scratch me through the night although the bed itself was comfy.
The room was in the middle of 2 other rooms on the top floor at the back of the hotel. We didn't get any noise from the street but we got plenty from inside the hotel. One of the rooms next to ours was occupied by a group of boys who liked to share with the rest of us. The first night wasn't too bad by 10 the noise level dropped but this was only because they moved into another room on the floor below and after someone complained about them. The second night was worse it seemed they were having the party in their room complete with party games a guest from the floor below came up to complain and all they did was deny everything. When my husband rang the owners to imform them about what was happening he came up and told them to get out.
The next morning at breakfast he didn't even appologise to us or the other guests about what had happend and we later found out that when they arrived on the Friday they had come complete with their own supply of booze even though the hotel was liecensed.
Breakfast was average all I can say is that it was food and it was hot but I can't say that it was the best that I've ever had.
So I'm sure that you can understand why we won't be going back to the Windsor Carlton but please feel free to go after all mine is just one of many reviews for this hotel and it seems to be the only negative one.

What a great B & B and really friendly owners. Breakfasts were superb and always hot. Our bedroom was nicely decorated and the furnishings beautiful. We had a sea view which was lovely and tea & coffee facilities. Tricia was very informative and gave us tips on where to get event tickets cheaper than buying at the actual venues. Overall an excellent stay and we will definitely be returning again in the near future.
Only problem with the stay was the fireworks were cancelled due to very bad winds,(one of the reasons we went when we did), but it didn't spoil anything and we did get to see the illuminations every night.

Thanks Tricia and Chris for a great break away.

We had a great stay at the Windsor Carlton in August 2012. We stayed 2 nights and had a twin room and a double. The rooms were very nice, decorated to a good standard and very clean. Breakfast was very good and staff all extremely helpful. Would definately stay here again when in the area.

A lovely stay in Blackpool, we stayed for 2 nights, should have been longer, the bedroom was really spacious with everything you could ever want, the breakfast was lovely and the owners were really helpful and friendly, could not have asked for more, will definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We had a king size room which was perfect for the two of us.

visited this hotel for 3 nights from the 17th august, check in very informative from chris, room 5 was comfortable and clean with nice decor but no seaview, breakfast was a little early for us between 8am and 9am. but was very good everything cooked to order and red hot when it arrived, one of the best breakfasts we have had in a b&b, location for north pier 10mins away but a good 25mins to tower, but trams and bus stops not too far away.chris and trisha very good hosts giving us good places to eat out etc,we put our wine in the bar fridge to chill as the mini fridge does not hold a bottle.highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for a quiet stay, also recommend booking directly, will be visiting again.

Room Tip: ring direct to get a seaview room

stayed here for 2 nights cannot praise this B&B highly enough, very impressed Trisha was very helpful nothing was too much trouble, our double sea view room was good but when we asked to look at the king size sea view room we both went wow, so next time we stay we will be booking the king size, the decor was very modern and contemporary, the breakfast was brilliant very tasty, its a short walk to the north pier but quite a walk to the pleasure beach or water park but the tram and bus stops are right outside on the main prom, the only negative is with the mini fridge supplied, its a good idea, but it only holds about 4 soft drink cartons or 2 cans, its not big enough to hold a bottle of wine or champagne so room for improvement, but thats just my opinion some people might not use it, fantastic place and very quiet area away from the noise and bars on the prom.

Stayed here for 1 night in July. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Both owners were absolutely delightful and could not go any further out of their way to help you. Definitely added to our stay. The location is ideal as it is far enough away from the noise that the evening brings, plus you get to take a beautiful stroll along to beach each time you go back into the centre.

See view room was perfect for our needs. very clean and well decorated.

Breakfast was brilliant too. Cooked fresh so there was no worry of mushy beans or dried out bacon.

If I was to go back this is the only place I would want to stay.
