Having booked to go to the "Eye" of the tower and experience the 'walk of faith' we did not expect to be able to go into the ballroom and watch the dancing that was taking place. I have always wanted to see this venue and was thrilled to be able to sit in the balcony with my family (husband, son & his wife, and daughter & her husband) and take in the breathtaking architecture and wonderful music that was being played. Apparently it was a tea dance taking place, open to the general public, which made it even more enjoyable as people of all ages were strutting their stuff on this beautifl dance floor. All of us were transfixed, and could have sat there for much longer had we not had an itinerary to keep to.
