We arrived on a Friday evening for a weekend break. We had a family room with bunk beds for the kids (our daughter and her friend). After an initial mix up over the Teddy Bears which were to be left in the room, which was resolved promptly and to everyones satisfaction by the girls on duty at Reception, we got on with enjoying our stay.
The Hotel is in an excellent location, being on the sea front, so is really easy to find by car. Plenty of parking with extensions easily obtainable.
Lots of space in the room, with a really comfortable bed and a well put together bathroom.
The restaurant is really good with locally sourced produce obvious on the Menu.
At breakfast the Buffet is very good value, with a wide choice suitable for all tastes.

We are regular visitors to Blackpool, averaging 2-3 visits a year, and we will be seeking to book here for all our future visits.

My Partner and I have just returned from a overnight stay at the Big Blue Hotel in Blackpool and we were extremely pleased with the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was extremely clean and the rooms were lovely (We got upgraded too which made the stay even better) and the Breakfast was fantastic. We got the package deal for £136 on a Saturday night, bed breakfast and wristbands for the Pleasure Beach, would highly reccomend!

Advoid
We stayed at this hotel 7th march( fri) till the Sunday me, husband and 2 children on the 3rd floor in romm 337 delux family room, very expensive
I'll just cut straight to faults
: staff just walk in your room caught myself knaked getting ready, excuss was sorry didn't think anyone would be in,, said you should knock!
:heating was broke so the room was constantly 30 degrees, the window in that room only open 2 inch so it was in bearable , rang to ask what was the problem and they still couldn't fix, and again they just entre your room knowing this time we was in due to us ringing down to front desk from the room grrr
:room that was above us kept flooding our bathroom, lights went bang tripped few others we had our own wet room with when I'm saying wet it was flooded and this happened twice a day , the hotel said they couldn't do anything about this apart from move us room to a room that the kids had to stay on a settee as it was only a duo or room
:bedding was ripped and looked old but was clean
:I hsve given the hotel a chance to get back to me as I said I would comment on trip adviser regarding the hotel as it wasn't a nice experience but not heard anything, I have been onto to fabio( hotel manage) who was getting back to me but guess what nothing
: tip, look else were to stay

We stayed at the Big Blue Hotel for 3 nights as we were attending a conference at the Winter Gardens.
The hotel is well presented and both communal areas and rooms are kept to a good standard.
Check in was very easy the reception staff were very helpful as were the restaurant team who were attentive and friendly which was welcome after a long drive.
The rooms are spacious and have everything you need and would expect. Including lots of towels which is good when you have hair to wash and don't want to use the hand towel to dry it! Only down side to the room was the pillows, not comfortable at all which is a shame because the bed is? Also there are no plugs near the wall hung mirror which meant I couldn't use neither my hairdryer or straightners whilst looking in the mirror!!! But the reception team were very good and sent an extension lead up!!
All in all a good stay and would stay again

In all a fab break. We stayed here for a night and I really have no complaints. Check in was nice easy with friendly staff. The family room was certainly big enough and my son loved the tv in his room. The room was clean as was the bathroom.
We had dinner and breakfast there and both good. Again my son loved the fact he could make his own pizza.......
In all our trip to Blackpool was good and we are looking forward to our next. Will deffo stay at the hotel again.
