When i was researching a hotel in blackpool just for a weekend break with my boyfriend and came across this one i wasn't too keen at first purley because of the name !! but as i looked further it looked like the best hotel in blackpool.. i wasnt really keen on some of the others!! it was medium priced i guess just over £200 for breakfast and 3 nights... my belief is if you want quality you need to pay for it! When we got to the hotel (which you can't miss haha) we were greeting in a friendly manner and were told all the info we needed including the fact we could pick our wristbands for the pleasure beach up at reception that we'd previously booked on online... this was a massive help... they even had a guest entrance at the side of the hotel to the fair so you didnt need to walk all the way round.... its such a great location! we wernt disturbed, the room was amazing and clean and had all the facilities you'd expect.. i must rave about the resturant in the hotel!!!!!! the buffet breakfast was the best iv ever had ... had everything from fry up to cereals to continentals ...!!!! and the night time resturant was even better ... after having a bad experience at a indian resturant earlier on in the evening on our second night we were to annoyed to find anywhere else so we ate at the hotel... and wow!! i had the belly of pork which was massive and cooked perfectly and my boyfriend had the duck... which was also perfection... and the whole thing was fairly priced.. when i return to blackpool this is my go to place from now on!! Great staff great hotel! exceeded my expectations big style! :)

Room Tip: Even though we were a couple we were somehow put in a family room which has bunk beds in a seperate...

Great for families, had 2 rooms with interconnecting door as we have 5 kids, great location, perfect if your visiting the pleasure beach as we were, the deal included wristbands and it was a good deal! Brilliant bunk beds for our boys with a tv each, hired a playstation 3 for them, really lovely reception staff and the best thing of all the breakfast, had a wide choice, even suited our extremely fussy 9 year old twin boys!! Would definately recommend and would definately go back!!

Having arrived for a 2 night stay (we ended up staying 3 it was that good) we weren't sure what to expect as the name of the hotel made it sound a bit of a comedy hotel! However we were absolutely delighted as soon as we pulled into the car park. It is very easy to find the hotel from the M6 and the car park is vast with spaces aplenty. Check in was very easy and the young lady was very pleasant. The reception sets the tone for the hotel as it is very modern, bright and clean with complimentary fresh fruit available. When we entered the room we were amazed at how spacious it was and how big the bed was. The kids bunk beds were in an alcove and have a tv for each bed which kids will love. The bunks are only 5ft long so not suitable for children over 12. Cleanliness was superb and bathroom the best we have had in a hotel. We had a room that looked onto the Pepsi Max ride but during our stay the pleasure beach was shut. However during high season i would think there would be a lot of noise from the fairground and a room on the other side of the hotel would be advisable. Breakfast was good with a varied choice of high quality hot and cold food and again very friendly staff. The hotel bar is small and prices are high. Hotel is right at the end of the promenade but trams and buses run regularly with an all day family pass costing £9. Superb hotel with magnificent staff who couldn't have done more. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: Get room on side away from the fairground to avoid noise

Had an offseason business trip to Fleetwood and very happy to have stayed in Big Blue

Friendly staff even though I arrived after 9pm, plenty of spaces in carpark and free wifi

Room was bright and airy- I got a family room and as other reviewers have pointed out the magnetic snakes and ladders would be brilliant for children. The bed was also huge and made for family pileups.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the rollercoaster look brilliant but would probably be very noisy when the pleasur...

The hotel was immaculate and the staff were always very helpful and curteous. The breakfast was very nice, plenty of it and freshly cooked. The kids loved the fact that each bunk bed had there own TV screens. The tram into Blackpool itself was good, a family day ticket was £9 and you had unlimited use of the trams and buses. Only bad thing was that the Tower and circus were shut, only open on weekends at this time of the year.
