My daughter and I stayed at the Big Blue Hotel for a Hag Party. You cannot miss the hotel as it is right on the Pleasure beach. In fact our Twin room looked out onto the Big dipper, I imagine a very exciting sight in the Height of summer.
The Hotel is very very clean, the rooms were lovely and of a very high standard, the reception area was lovely with fresh fruit available for guests. There is ample private parking and close to the seafront.
We went out for Dinner, but the buffet breakfast this morning was plentiful, hot and very well presented, the chefs were continually monitoring the availability of the food.

I would highly recommend this hotel for all age groupd and occasions. I will be returning.

Room Tip: All rooms are of excellent qualitty.

I stayed in darkest coldest December when it was bitterly cold outside and about 20 other residents, I think there was no one else on my floor!!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bedrooms although only standard I think was very comfy and very big with a seperate seating area. I over looked the rollercoaster which had it been on I would have moved rooms as the track runs right next to the window!! However the Big Blue is a theme Park hotel and I guess you have to expect it in Blackpool

Dinner was superb, pricey but excellent the steak was one of the best I have had in Blackpool!

Room Tip: avoid being near the rollorcoaster!

This was the first time i had ever taken my kids anywhere on my own, and as a single mum of 3 girls aged 14,12 and 3,I was very nervous. However,This hotel is fantastic,i had no concerns over safety as the locks on doors etc were all out of reach of my toddler. We stayed in a family deluxe and the room/bathroom was very spacious. The separate area with the kids bunkbeds was fab, they absolutely loved it. Although do note that they are shorter beds and some teenagers may struggle a bit. Ive already booked us in for the family superior rm this august and for an extra night, we really cant wait.
The hotels entrance to the pleasurebeach in the morning was great as it meant no waiting around to get into the place.
We ordered room service on our last night and the food was second to none, The staff were all very friendly, even to the kids lol and there was no problems atall booking in etc.
It turned out to be the most amazing time ever and my girls and i left with memories of a great bonding experience and i genuinely put alot of that down to the hotel, as i said, No complaints atall, well done big blue hotel . .cant wait to come see you again at the end of august.

Me and my partner have just got back from a 3 day break at the big blue hotel. This is my 4th time stayin and I will defiantly be staying again.

Great value as we booked 2 nights in a deluxe room for £130! Room was great as always lots of space. Very clean.

Breakfasts are always what we look forward to. Buffet style cooked breakfast and everything from muffins, croissants, yoghurts, fruit etc. and the staff are always attentive!

This was our 5th stay and all I can say is it's getting tired. Our room was tatty (throw on sofa bed and carpet) and the sink was cracked, not 4* expectations. The breakfasts are our favourite but this time there were not enough staff to clear the tables and plates stacked up, normally these are whisked away quickly. Staff were flustered and when I e.mailed my complaint to the hotel following our stay I did not even get a response. Will not be going again, which is a shame.
