Have stayed before, and returned so must be a fair reccomendation.
This is a very good hotel for Blackpool, but the details just let it down from being a 4 star in my opinion. I stay in hotels at least once a week, so speak drom experience. Went with my wife for the weekend. Staff very helpful, and overall a good experience, and for the price of a Premier inn (£85 for a superior room) very good. We were upgraded to a deluxe room, i think they needed the standard rooms for all the families ( dont go if you dont want to be around children, it is a family hotel next to pleasure beach after all). Bad points that let the room down were as follows:-bathroom grout was pretty black and the r
Bathroom needed decorating on the whole. Toilet roll holder hanging off, qnd the bath screen leaked so badlythat we had to use a towel to mop it up. Another detail was the wires were hanging down under the room fire. I am being rather picky here, but its just what I would expect to be better in a 4 star. Breakfast ok but busy and a little limited again for afour star. I would reccomend, but expect good 3 star and you won t be dissapointed.

We stayed for a weekend during the illuminations. We sent requests via facebook prior to arriving and recieved friendly helpful replies. We arrived late on Friday night and experienced a fast smooth friendly check in. The deluxe room was lovely with a nice fire. We ordered room service which arrived quickly and was really nice. Loved the two chairs in the room they were great for relaxing. The bathroom was spotless with nice toiletries, although you dont get much in a bottle for two people to use. The room was very warm and stuffy although you could open the window/door, but we couldnt seem to get a comfortable temperature. It may have been because I was poorly throughout the stay. The lifts were a problem as one was out of order. Also the ice machine wasnt working which would have been helpful. On the Sunday we asked for a pass to look around the pleasure beach which the hotel gave us no problems. We had a quick wander around and needed to return to our car as it has to be out of the car park by 1. However the lad on the gate would not allow us to leave through the entrance we used., even though there was no one else there and two steps and we would have been through. This meant a very long walk which took about 30 mins more. I was furious as I was very ill, feeling dizzy and sick with flu and was ready to collapse by the time i made it around the park back to hotel. Breakfast was very busy, but well organised. Overall a good hotel that I would return to.

We booked a family superior room for the 2 of us and our 3 children and were not disappointed,it was lovely the kids loved the separate little area with their bunk beds and their own tellys, 1 each which was fab, the rooms are spotless and lovely sized the tea/coffee facilities were good and plenty of them, breakfast was lovely ad the dining room was nice too.
People have put its a bit pricey an could get premier inn and all the other chains for half the price but when we priced them up it wasn't a massive difference to say many of the chains don't give breakfast within the price, the kids area in the rooms definitely made the difference for us

Really comfortable room with excellent facilities. The most enjoyable part was the restaurant.A really interesting menu with very well cooked food. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I would definitely use this hotel again. It is very near to the Pleasure Beach but this was not a problem at this time of the year. It is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.

This is the first time we have stayed at this hotel, myself and husband and my daughter and her husband. we had a lovely time the hotel the rooms were very clean, the staff were very helpful the breakfast was very nice a very good choice, my only complaint was there was a singer of sorts on at another hotel across the road and it was quite loud and went on till after 11pm. But never mind we still had a good time and we would go again

Just returned from a two night break staying at the Big Blue Hotel. Had previously stayed here a few years ago and now returned with two young children. Superior Family Room was great and suited our needs perfectly. Room was very clean and comfortable the view over Pleasure Beach was novel and our daughter enjoyed having her own space within the room encompassing bed, TV etc. Found staff in hotel extremely friendly and happy to accommodate needs of a young family. There was a slight queue for breakfast on Sat morning but only for 5 mins and no real hardship. We also had one evening meal in the hotel which was excellent. Free entrance into Pleasure Beach was a nice bonus. All in all great base for a short family break in Blackpool.

Just stayed here with my girlfriend for her Birthday.

We loved the hotel and cant complain abotu anything. The room was really nice and warm with a good view of the pleasure beach.

The staff were helpful and friendly, even the cleaners were cheerful which is rare. We are 100% going to return here as it felt so homely and comfortable.

Thank you!!
