Thank you Katie, David and Kayley for your review of the Rockcliffe, it was great having you with us again during the October half term period. Karaoke on the Monday night was great fun for everyone, pleased you all enjoyed it. We also did a Halloween fancy dress weekend the following weekend, you would of loved it. We look forward to seeing you all again sometime in 2013. Fiona, Pete and Staff xx

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We were a couple traveling with a young baby ( 6 months). We stayed in room 7 which was a double room with a travel cot (supplied by the hotel at a charge of £5 per night). The room was very cosy but was perfect for our needs. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Only thing to note is there is no lift and the rooms are over three floors with breakfast severed in the basement... If you have mobility issues might be best contacting the hotel directly. Also the beds are a little firm but this is purely personal preference and not a poor reflection of this hotel

The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. We were with a bigger group of 15 with ages varying from 6months to 60years. Two young teenagers and plenty of children and all had a fantastic time. The kids were treated to karaoke ever night which went down very well... The hotel itself is in a brilliant location.

It is 15 mins away from Blackpool north train station (walking) and a short walk away from the tower and north pier. To walk to the pleasure beach takes about an hour (walking at a leisurely pace with plenty of stopping to shop along the way).

Morning breakfast is cereal, toast and a cooked breakfast. There was plenty of choice and again the hotel was very accommodating. All in all a very nice and excellent value for money hotel with a very pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

(Please note the hotel has neither a fitness centre or a swimming pool I clicked These by mistake and couldn't turn them off again... D'oh!)

Thanks for taking the time to write this glowing review, we are really pleased all your party of 15 enjoyed their stay with us, and had a great weekend break away. We enjoyed the Karaoke nights with you all, the children were really up for singing, especially all the Queen songs they seem to know so well. The beds being firm, must just be a personal preference, as most of our mattresses are fairly new, especially room 7 the one you stayed in, but you can never get the same as at home I suppose. The pleasure beach which is in Blackpool South can take a while to walk too, but there is a Tram stop across the road, which gets you there very quickly, however we are close to the Town Centre, Blackpool Tower, and a short walk to all the restaurants, bars & night life.
Pleased you all enjoyed the breakfast, and found us friendly and accommodating, we always try to go that extra mile for our guests to make sure everyone has a pleasant and comfortable stay.
We look forward to all of you coming back to Blackpool and staying with us once again. Pete, Fiona & Staff x

Thankyou Lisa, Chris and children for your very good comments of the Rockcliffe. Room 12 that you stayed in is very large with a Bay window, overlooking the Irish Sea. We hope to see you all again next year, and look forward to your return.

We found this Hotel really good. The bedroom was very comfortable and the Hotel was spotless. Breakfast was everything you could wish for. The owners couldn't do any more for you. They were very friendly and we were looked after very well. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for giving us a good holiday.

Just came home from a three day break at this hotel and can't put a fault to it. We were welcomed when we arrived by a lady who asked us if we would like any help getting our luggage to our room, which we declined and then she showed us threw to a bar area to check in - after which we were given directions to our room, told which keys to use for each door & also that if we needed anything throughout the day there were bells under the bar counter to get a member of staffs attention. When arriving in our hotel room, everything was perfectly clean and the towels were nicely shaped into sea shells positioned on the bed. Everything is provided for you such as a hair dryer, shampoo, cotton wool pads ect. We had a side view room, you could hear no noise from outside unless the window was open and that was the bare minimum you'd expect. The breakfast was very nice and excellent portions considering it comes included with the hotel room, and they always ask you wether you want more aswell! When leaving the lady took our keys from us and had a very nice conversation and told us to have a safe journey home! Fantastic hotel with welcoming staff that's a very good price considering its so near to the sea and town centre and everything that's included with it.. Would definitely stay there again if we were up there. Thank you :)

Many thanks for this glowing review of the Rockcliffe, we also had your parents with us on the week before, hope they liked their Sea View room? We know you wanted a chilling time in Blackpool to take a well earned break from work, and talking to you both on your departure, you said it turned out to be exactly as you wanted. Pleased you liked all the little extra's in the bedroom, and enjoyed your breakfast in the mornings. We hope to see you and your family again sometime soon. Fiona, Pete & Staff
