“Nothing special, but fine.”
Reviewed August 8, 2014

It's nothing special, but it was late, and we needed food and beer, and on that basis it was a godsend. No real ale, but decent lager, proices OK, staff great.

“Would have been zero !”
Reviewed August 4, 2014 via mobile

Went with wife and two kids Sunday night and place was busy but oh my god where are the staff.the ones in war it two or three looked fed up as did everyone else in the spot.ten min to order drink an eternity waiting for food.it's not staff fault it's management.I imagine they are too tight to employ staff even though it must turnover a bucket load.anyone staying at the hotel is likely to try it.food was dross and kids plate pitiful.glad we had crisps bought for after.really felt stiffed for paying for this and would have walked out if not pre paid.rarely have seen such poorly run establishment.:-

“Good Value”
Reviewed July 19, 2014

A busy pub and its worth booking a table for evening meals as manu people go in around 5.30pm to 6.30pm for the two for £10 meals which end at 6.30pm.

The service was good and the price of the meals reasonable.
