We saw a add in a paper for this hotel so we decided to try it and weve come 2 times a year ever since, the owners are very kind and very socialable, they do b&b or just the room if you would like it, this is an amazing hotel and would definatly reccomend it to anyone.

i stayed in the hotel with a bunch of friends and i found the room very small and cramped up!, alt i am unwell so did not stay out with everybody late at night and returned back to the room to rest, i was rudely awoken at half 8 in the morning with banging on the door, as i opened it the land lady barged in accusing me of smoking and throwing used tea bags from the window , i am a non smoker and had not used the tea facilities as the cups were dirty!! , after discovering that it was not me she left the room without so much as a sorry , i was very poorly and did not appretiate the rude and arrogant attitude , would not recomend this hotel

Room Tip: stay somewhere else

Unhappy, yes I was with good reason not only was this party very drunk, they insisted on running in and out of the Hotel in the early hours of the morning, causing complaints from my neighbours, they also smoked in the rooms and threw used tea bags out of the windows. As far as you recommending us, I would'nt want you or any of your associates back!

we recently stayed at the seaside resort on arrival mike was welcoming showed us to our room and then left, the tea and coffee making facilities were in the wardrobe. The room was a twin room and had a sink in the room and a wardrobe unfortunatly there was no room for anything else, and there was no heating in this room which reflected in the corners or the room where there were damp patches and the room was very damp including bedding and the smell of damp throughout, the beds themselves only allowed for one flat pillow, and the spring mattresses stuck in my back, the bathroom hosted a nice shower but the floor was VERY uneven and sloped to the left quite a bit. The breakfast was nice but no choice given on what we had was just brought a full english having said this it was enjoyable was a shame breakfast was only served at nine. The bar was closed on both the evenings that we stayed there which was unfortunate as you were not allowed your own food or drink in the hotel. overall even though this is a budget hotel i still feel we were slightly let down on what we were expecting as standard practice.

Unfortunately due to the adverse weather we have had a slight problem with a corner in this room BUT we do object strongly with the remarks regarding the bed & bedding. On booking all our guests are informed we serve a full english breakfast which is served every morning at 9. Our bar is open every evening where both myself and my husband can be found. We are only a small family run B&B and only wish our guests had come directly to us during their stay with their dissatisfactions. We would have done our utmost to rectify these issues. Unfortunately the bathroom floor may have to remain slopping for the time being. We feel that £20pp B&B is good value for money.
