“great value as always at wetherspoons”
Reviewed October 16, 2011

we ate here twice whilst staying at the nearby Premier Inn. The burger and a drink for £3.99 is such good value - you just can't do wrong. I prefer the chicken fillet burgers but my hubby had the beefburger and we were both pleased with the quality and temperature of our meal. Second night we treid the gammon and the three mini pies (on offer during the beer festival) Both ok - nice piece of meat, well cooked, maybe too much pastry content with the pies but that is personal preference as all three were hot and tasty. The drinks were a bargain with a bottle of Hardy's at £4.99 and couldn't fault hte service. Great value for a whole night out.

This Wetherspoons was looking old and worn. However, it was busy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was what you would expect at any Wetherspoons - tasty and simple. My wife and I and our 2 children (4 and 2 years old) ate for £12 and all enjoyed it.

On the downside the tables were sticky and dirty, and the cutlery was also not cleaned properly. I would possibly try the newer Wetherspoons next to the tower in future when in Blackpool again.
