We stayed here for a long weekend in February, and really enjoyed it.
We were greeted by Hazel, who was very nice and helpful. We were shown to our room which was on the top floor (Room 6) this was quite a few stairs and might be difficult for some people, the room was really nice and the bed was really comfortable. We had a double bed and a single bed in the room and there was only two of us.
We could hear the traffic outside but Hazel explained that it was because the windows were not double glazed, and that she would eventually do the windows, but this didn't disturb us too much.
The bathroom was en-suite and it was really nice, we all had tea & coffee facilities in our room which are restocked every day and if you run low just ask Hazel and she will supply more.
There is plenty to choose from for breakfast from cereal, fruit, yogurts, full english to a light option.
There is limited free parking available, but we were lucky as Hazel had a space round the back of the B & B which we used all weekend for FREE!!
We would stay here again :0)

Room Tip: We were told the rooms at the back of the B & B were the quieter ones, ours was at the front but...

Ive just stayed here recently for the weekend and was expecting it to be worth the money as it had really good reviews and thank fully it was lovely the beds had just had new.mattresses and were reqlly comfortable and the rooms were really clean apart from the bathroom had a few hairs. The breakfast was nice, and the lady who owned the hotel couldn't be more helpful. The hotel was in great walking distance to the sea front and tower and there was a Yorkshire bank at the bottom.of the street which was the only.cash point where you.didnt have to pay. I would be going again if I go to Blackpool again and at only £100 for the weekend you can't go wrong.

It's good to hear that you would return and I can only apologise that a few hairs were missed when your room was prepared.

Le Papillion is a cosy, well placed guest house in the center of Blackpool.
We went up so the kids could experience the illuminations and a "traditional" seaside break in the UK.
Hazel gave us a warm welcome and was very helpful throughout our 2 day stay, despite running the whole show single-handed and being rushed off her feet.
The family suite was clean, warm and comfy which is all we needed.
There was a good choice at breakfast and a well stocked bar for a nightcap to take the edge off the freezing, wet weather.
Overall a lovely base from which to explore Blackpool.
Blackpool itself on the other hand, well let's just say it's not what it was and leave it at that.

We were greeted with a warm welcome by Hazel. The rooms were to a very good standard and were clean and comfortable. The rooms were lovely and warm with individual thermostats on the radiators. We stayed in the family suite. There was plenty of choice at breakfast including fresh fruit and yoghurt and the full english breakfast was cooked to a high standard. The location was just a ten minute walk to the centre. It was tucked away nicely away from all the noise. Also, there was free on site parking around the back of the B&B which was a bonus. Overall we would use this hotel again and we would recommend it.

Booked this on the web after viewing lots of family accommodation & after reading others reviews. The small family suite we booked was ideal and was perfect for children as it gave the adults privacy when our little boy had gone to bed. Hazel was the perfect landlady by going the " extra mile " supplying a heater, a winter quilt , a print out of an offer online for pleasure beach, and a big pot of tea and juice when she kindly allowed us to use the dining room for fish suppers ! For a 3 night break it was great and the breakfasts were very tasty. The only " downside " for us was the memory foam mattress...... it doesn't suit all couples as my husband is much bigger / taller than me and i slept badly as kept rolling into the middle of the bed. So for us memory foam isn't a good thing so he had to sleep in beside our son in the twin room on the last night to let me sleep !! But this may be good for others..... the location was great, quiet at night too and it was good to show our youngest child the attractions of Blackpool. The only downside was that the sliding door into the ensuite left a gap of around an inch or two which meant there was little privacy if you wanted to use the toilet. This may bother some folk for example if you'd only just met and this was a first trip away together but as previously mentioned Hazel is busy refurbishing and she mentioned it herself when we checked in ! All in all i'd recommend . thanks again Hazel. The Pettigrews

My son and I stayed at this B+B close in walking distance from all attractions in Blackpool. We stayed in a double room with ensuite shower bathroom. The new owner has had a lot of renovation done and a great job in upgrading the comfort: fluffy bedding, good mattresses, TV with remote and best her excellent personal care. You come home and she will put the tea cattle on and offer her company in the little bar downstairs. She helped with ordering food in. Her breakfast is like putting your feet under mom's table again and gives you a great start into the day. I was not impressed with Blackpool as a city but I was with her care for her customers. Well done and I would stay with you again!
