Fantastic day out! Good value for money. Well laid out so you don't feel like you are walking for miles. Animals look well cared for and content. Staff helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit.

“Great experience seeing variety of wild animals from around the World..”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

I love to watch the antics of Messie the infant Gorilla who was born May 2010, so full of mischief annoying her Dad, and the new infant born Nov 2012, The Orang-u-Tang just chilling out on a hot day covering their faces with straw or a blanket, The Tigers and Lions at feeding time the roar of the Male lion sending shivers down your spine, The Elephants being groomed. The sealions
routine, Joy to see animals being cared for by dedicated keepers and in safe environment. The joy on young peoples faces as they experience close contact.

“Great day at the zoo”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

Visited Blackpool zoo in august with our grandchildren. They and we loved it. We'll laid out, Spotlessly clean, with loads of attractions. Lovely, clean cafes etc. The staff are a credit to the zoo very knowledgeable, helpful and polite. You can tell they love the job they do. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend a visit to any visitor to Blackpool.

“Blackpool Zoo”

Blackpool Zoo is whizz for a Zoo. It was strange to look into an enclosure and then notice the birds standing next to you looking in as well. It is very well kept and it is obvious that the animals etc. are well cared for by concerned staff

“Family friendly zoo......”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

Easily accessible with lots of parking (you have to pay and display), the Zoo is spacious and has lots of animals. There is a dinosaur walk and various displays throughout the day. Nearby is the lovely Stanley Park - free to visit and well worth an hour or two of time to enjoy its peaceful, tranquil, natural delight.
