“Time your visit when the winds are lowest or you might not be allowed to the top!”
Reviewed April 3, 2014 via mobile

Visited with a group of work friends and enjoyed the corny 4D show before travelling to the top. The glass floor is a nice addition but be prepared to be blown away at the top! If the winds are high you will not be allowed up. Great view from the top, over priced gift shop on the way down with the obligatory souvenir photo.

“A must do in Blackpool.”
Reviewed April 3, 2014

A tad on the pricey side but worth it if only for the view looking down through the glass floor...not for the faint hearted or vertigo sufferer! The 4d film show is great (if a little on the brief side) and you can chill out in the ballroom or cafe afterwards.

“Overpriced attraction”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

Overpriced. Ticket only covers the tower lift & short 4d video clip. Access to ballroom & circus additional tickets. Cluttered with arcade games, pushy staff trying to take souvineer photo's at cost of £20. Most people have own cameras. Sky walk glass is good addition. Gift shop overpriced. Coffee shop ran out of milk had to wait ages on hot chocolate. Jungle jim more of a crèche not fitting with historic landmark. Tower is now tacky not classy. Money making machine. Not enjoyable for the elderly as expensive.

“Fantastic view at the top.”
Reviewed April 1, 2014 via mobile

We used our Merlin Passes to visit this attraction and loved every minute of it.

On entry there was the photos, but the staff are polite and you can tell them not to bother! And once past them it's onto the 4D cinema, which is really good.

The staff are fantastic and informative, Colin was a lovely gentleman guide at the top of the tower who was very informative.
The glass floor and wall at the top is great and the views fantastic.

After the glass floor you can carry on up to the open areas, again good views and when we visited windy! There is no limit on the time spent up the tower, which it thought was a good idea.

Some of the other areas are a bit shabby but we where told the place is being cleaned up.
