So disappointed with the tower. It used to be a great place to go and spend a whole day.. now you're lucky if 4 hours is covered being in there. You now have to pay for things individually as the entrance fee was scrapped which just seems silly. There's hardly anything in there anymore. You have to pay to get into the Ballroom which I think is terrible. Many happy childhood memories from dancing around the Ballroom and watching the dancers in there. The family bar with entertainment has been replaced with a burger bar. Even Jungle Jim's for the kids is nothing like it used to be. The grandeur of the tower has been ruined. It used to be a beautiful building but now it just looks bare and boring. The only good thing is the circus, which is worth the price. The performers are fantastic and put in so much hard work. Why did they have to change things? The tower was best left as it had been for years. Change isn't always for the better. Especially not these changes.

I thought we'd just go in a lift to the tower, that's it. But no, I was really surprised that they added a 4D cinema in there as well, it was really very interesting and I didn't expect it at all. Then going up the tower that was as I expected, but actually being at the top of the tower was brilliant! Glass floors! And the view was stunning. Kids loved it, it was good to go up the different levels whilst up at the top. Once again a real effort!

At a cost of £25 each to go up the tower and no child rates I'm glad I had my merlin card as I think it's a bit expensive. The 4D film was really good and my little girl enjoyed it. Thankfully we had a clear day and could see all of blackpool from the top. The glass floor was cool as well

Thank you for taking the time to review our attraction, and I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed your day.

Our pricing for the Blackpool Tower Eye with 4D Cinema Experience is actually £12.95 for an adult and £9.95 for a child, with combinations available for extra attractions, or a £30.00 Tower Ticket for all attractions within the building (the Tower Eye, Tower Circus, Blackpool Tower Dungeon, Ballroom and Jungle Jims). We offer child rates on all of our attractions, and only charge both adults and children the same price for the Tower Ticket because of the addition of Jungle Jims for the children.

If you go to Blackpool, go to the Tower Complex. An all inclusive day with value for money, lots to see and do.
This is an area of sanity and a method of avoiding the chips, vomit and lewd behaviour that is spoiling the rest of Blackpool.
I wont stay in Blackpool again, but I will go back to the tower for a day out
