The view from the top of the tower is excellent, but not worth the charge. The 4D cinema is pretty average at best. We went on a wet March day and even with small visitor numbers, the queues were shocking. I dread to think what it must be like at the peak of season. The children's soft play is pretty good to be fair. The biggest let down which is only a small thing, (but it says a lot about how they value their customers) was the fact that when I got home I realised they'd charged me without asking for a "guide book", which is a fold out piece of card that I put in my pocket and didn't even realise what it was, it was so small.

The 4D show was amazing, it almost brought a tear to my eye the sheer beauty and history behind it, and the view from the top of the tower is breathtaking, definitely an attraction for both young and old alike!

The gift shop was also fantastic and staff were friendly and polite. All in all a must-see attraction in Blackpool

As a family of 4 with a 2 year old and an 11 month old we found it fantastic, our 2 yr old loved the tower, loved being really high etc. the weather was nice when we visited and skies were clear some were lucky! We had a cream tea in the ballroom which was also fantastic. There was some old people ballroom dancing which we sat for a good half an hour and watched with the kids. The jungle jims is also very good although under 3s have to pay so despite having our merlin passes we still had to pay for that which we weren't aware of. The burger restaurant was delicious, much better quality than McDonald's but a similar price. The 4d cinema was very good, staff were very helpful, couldn't fault them, the only bit that was a shame was that we holidayed a week before the circus started which we didn't know but never mind we will check next time! Overall it was really good and worth a visit.
