Had a great time staying at Hawthorn house. Owners were very frieindly, helpful and welcoming. It was really clean and well decorated. Our room was lovely and comfortable. Bar area was great, it had space invader, duke box etc. My teenage boys loved being able to connect to wifi. It was a great location near to main attractions. There was a lovely cheap cafe right by it. I would definately recommend it. I would love to stay there again.

Came here with 10 of my friends for my hen weekend and between us there was not one complaint. Such a central location and every room was lovely (we had every room on the top floor) The landlady was great with all my requests and after check in on the friday night, apart from getting her to phone us a taxi on the Saturday night, she left us to do our own thing and as we all got given our own keys we had no need to bother her. Would def reccomend and think I may visit again in future with my family

Can't fault it at all this should be number 1 on here. Excellent rooms service and a friendly smile 3 cafes on tap and ideal location. Room cleaned to perfection everyday,Liam and Sharron couldn't do enough for us and the price was spot on
The family room slept 5 with ease. And could have slept more.freezing cold at this time but our room toasted us, we will be back again for sure

i had never been to blackpool, so my hubbie booked us a weekend away to see the illuminations. first thoughts as we arrived on the street was " hope its that one" as it was well kept and inviting. we were met in the lounge area by Sharon, the lady who owns it, she was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. the lounge had a very reasonably priced bar, plenty of seating, a juke box, board games, and even an old electronic pac man table game. we were then shown to our newly decorated en-suite room (rooms are on floors 1,2&or3 so u need to be ok with stairs) it was clean, practical smelt lovely and the bed was comfortable, it also had a tv and tea+coffee facilities. out of some rooms, you can even see the Central Pier. Sharon was also able to recommend places to visit and eat. i can understand why she doesn't do food, but just 2 mins each direction were cafe's, both which did lovely breakfasts. will definatly recommend to anyone wishing to go to blackpool.
only fault i could find was there wasn't a shelf or ledge in my bathroom to put my toiletries.

Got to the hotel and asked about the advertised parking. There is no private parking, just roadside that is impossible to get a space on. The lady then stated they do not accept all male groups. Yes i no but theres is only two of us, which in my dictionary isnt a group. Checked in at tea time later that evening. Asked the lady if we could have a beer, no, bar closed on a sunday. Even on bank holiday sunday. Checked out the following day to find that the b n b had taken 50 pounds out of my account without my permission. Surely this is not standard procedure??

My boyfriend and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel for our short stay in Blackpool! We were greeted warmly by the landlady, who kindly showed me a local carpark that we could park the car and forget about it during our stay.We were upgraded to a triple room which was tastefully decorated in a lovely green colour. The room was spotless and comfortable.A lovely clean, large bathroom with a fab shower. Hotel is centrally positioned and a short walk to local amenities!we have definitely found our 'local' hotel in Blackpool! A wonderful stay!!
