“The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance to the Town attractions. The room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast. The Landlord (John) was very friendly, helpful and efficient. It´s a place to go back. We must say that john has only been in this hotel since July and it is costing him a fortune after the last people let the place go down hill he is doing a great job good luck to him. we would go back anytime. Dave & Lynn.

The hotel owner was very attentive, and looked after us very well. Emptied bins daily. On our arrival we was asked what we would want for breakfast every day. The second day i changed my mind, and he didn't mind at all. Only criticisms would be the size of room. Very small considering there was two of us, and a baby. Also had very noisy neighbours upstairs, keeping us all awake all night. The hotel itself needs some changes, but manager said he was in proccess of doing this.

Family holiday went to Blackpool with no bookings we look around for an hr to find somewhere and bumped into this Hotel by accident. The host was excellent the rooms were good too clean and tidy cant find any complaints about them, the manager even managed to find a travel cot for us from another hotel. Breakfast was was good didn't have to wait long for it. and the best bit 5 mins from the golden mile.

These two terrible reviews are from the same Glasgow stag party of 12,amoung them was a couple of obnoxious guys. These reviews (which are rubbish),are a personal attack.I gave this group of 12 seventeen beds,i got no sleep for 48 hours, they will never be welcome back here,i duplicated 6 sets of spare keys for them, which were never returned & they left the rooms like pig-styes.

The shanklin stay was terrible from start to finish the cleanliness of the rooms were very poor. The security of our room was a lock on the door which had been put on backwards so only having one key between three of us we used a credit card to open our door if the key was not available.we were told not to use the shower in the room because it gave out electric shocks.the location is the best thing about the shanklin.
