stayed one night, the room was tiny but not as tiny as the double ???? (never ) bed, it had a single headboard over it and was just a tad bigger than the headboard
dirty walls, window sills etc cups for tea/coffee dirty,
the bathroom ............ dirty as the room thick dust on windowsill but the worst was the toilet was dirty had not been cleaned form the previous occupants , my husband went down to reception who sent a rather grumpy young lady up to clean it for us, he remarked on the small bed the staff at the desk just shrugged and laughed not exactly good customer service.
On the plus sides !!! the hotel itself was clean on entry and looked inviting, the bar area was clean and all the staff pleasant and the breakfast was excellent, all piping hot being refilled all the time.

We stayed at the savoy for one night, for 25pounds for two for bed and breakfast we couldn't complain. It has had a recent refurbishment, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was plentiful and varied. We had a sea view room which was clean, the only problem was the step up to the bathroom which only had a shower and was very small. We would stay here again as it is really good value for money.

This is quite an old fashioned hotel which must have been fantastic when built as its lovely and ornate. It has very clean amenities. They are trying to modernise where possible e.g jacuzzi in the bath which is commendable. Lots of free parking and its only a tram ride into town. I will return to this hotel as it is excellent value for money.
