“The Hotel Loreto Restored my Faith in Blackpool”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2010

I feel as though I could write an essay, or even a novel, about how much I enjoyed my visit to and stay at The Hotel Loreto. Hardly appropriate here, so instead, I'll ask you simply to consider what you want from a hotel in Blackpool, or indeed anywhere else...

Excellent location? Beyond competitive prices? Incredibly friendly staff who make you feel like a person and truly treat you as an individual, rather than an anonymous body or collective of bodies renting a bed or beds for the night? Food that is not only perfectly cooked but served in substantial portions?

If these are some of the requirements for your stay in Blackpool, you have just found all of them and more by considering staying at The Hotel Loreto.

Williw and Tracey could not of been friendlier, when we arrived we had a lovely 3 course meal for a very reasonable price, the rooms were ideal....we were travelling as a group of 8 lads on tour so therefore we could not ask any more of any accomodation. From arrival to end we had a great weekend all made better by the hosts! Already booked up to go back down, would not stay anywhere else in Blackpool! Highly recommended.

We stayed overnight on 20th August 2010 and what an enjoyable night we had. We booked a number of rooms for ourselves and friends as were were visiting Blackpool for a night out to celebrate a friends 30th. The hotel was clean, tidy and very easily located and the owners Wullie and Tracey were the loveliest couple i have met in a long time. We were made to feel so welcomed and at home and even joined the owners before our night out for a chat in the garden and a good old laugh which we found really nice as most owners would just sit in their private rooms and not socialise much and then the full english breakfast.....SUPERB!! Even though the hotel is currently being modernised the owners will do anything and everything for you and you will enjoy your stay!! We enjoyed it s much were going back in October and next year for the summer holidays.

We arrived here on the Tuesday and when we arrived the owners were there to great us and show us our room. we took our bags up and came down to a nice cup of tea and biscuits. The room were lovley and were a good size too, you can tell they are well looked after. We thought that we would have bed and breakfast aswell as an evening meal. the food there is outstanding, we even tried some scottish soup which is home made and i must say it were amazing. We were really looked after and were made to feel like we were at home. when it came to leaving on the last day we didnt actually want to go home. i would advise people to stay here because the owners of the hotel are friendly, kind and welcoming. We really look forward to coming back again in the future. and we wish everybody at hotel Loreto the best of luck with running the hotel. it definatly gets 10/10 from us!
