Stayed here for 2 nights with my young family, When we arrive Colleen & Steve helped us take our stuff in the hotel, Steve parked the car for us so we could go in and get our surrounding. The hotel was clean, tidy and nothing was too much trouble. The Breakfast was great. The couple and they daughter Mel made us feel very welcomed & was brilliant with the kids. They knew all the places to take a 3yr & 1yr, we had a brilliant weekend. Never staying at a different hotel, ALWAYS going back to the Waverley, A very happy customer!!!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. Sally, Daran, Lewis & Millie.

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a pair of couples. Collien and Steve welcomed us quickly, and it was clear to see we had chosen well.

Both rooms were immaculately clean, warm and welcoming, breakfast was very tasty, with my vegetarian friend well catered for.

Car parking was pre-booked as promised, which was very useful so we could just dump the car and not worry about parking it in town.

Location wise, The Waverley is 5 minutes walk from the Pleasure Beach, 2 minutes from the South Pier and seafront, and a gentle 15 minute walk from the town. Ideally placed really as it's quiet enough to be private, but close enough to not need to drive - you could always get a tram too.

We will be back, there is nothing more I can do to recommend!

Stayed at The Waverley for 4 nights (Mon-Fri) to celebrate my dads 60th birthday and the hosts Colleen & Steve certainly made us all very welcome. They were kind and curteous and nothing was too much trouble from helping with the luggage to making a tip top breakfast. The rooms and facilities were just what we needed for our short break, very clean and comfortable, we all had ensuite rooms which were spotless, and freshened up everyday by Colleen. The location too is very good, right by the pleasure beach and promenade but not on top of it all so is nice and quiet, it is a bit of a walk along the seafront to the Central and North piers but this wasn't a problem (helped walk off the brekkie!!). Dad had a fantastic birthdayand when we return to Blackpool The Waverley is definatly where I would want to stay, the price is very reasonable for what you get, including free parking!! and I can't recommend them enough!!... my only complaint was they were fully booked on the Fri night so I had to go home ;0)

We had a very warm welcome and our cases were even taken to our room for us.That's more than you get in some hotels ! The rooms were spotless and the decor was fresh.Comfort and cleandliness are a good combination and The Waverly had both.Breakfast was all you could wish for, prompt and well served with a "smiling face" ! The evenings were spent in the very cosy bar and prices reflected The Waverley's modest costing policy.Colleen and Steve run a very reasonably priced establishment and we were very fortunate to be able to stay there.I recommend this as a must if you are ever in Blackpool.
