Description: Benvenuto, This is La Piazza Italian Restaurant in Blackpool, we have kept the same principles of running our restaurant that made us a local favorite over 25 years ago. We are an authentic family run restaurant and every member has actively contributed to its life at some point. We are proud of our Italian heritage and aim to provide the best and freshest ingredients cooked with real Italian flare. Almost everything is made fresh to order here, we are not a chain, nor do we aspire to be. So if you feel like a Spaghetti alla Carbonara without bacon or Pollo Cacciatore without mushrooms, no problema! We encourage you to join us in the true Italian experience, as if you were in an Italian casa. Ask your friendly waiter about a bottle of Chianti or Pinot Grigio, enjoy a true Italian birra, why not order an antipasto with Garlic Bread before your main meal, we make our Tiramisu and other desserts right here so don’t be shy to give it a try. Finish your lunch or dinner with an enjoyable espresso or cappuccino, accompanied by a smooth Vecchia Romagna or Amaretto with ice? Please feel at home, enjoy the food we have enjoyed cooking for many years, and enjoyed eating for many more! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions about the menu or suggestions for the future. Grazie e Mangiamo!

Another fantastic meal at LA Piazza, great steaks and those onion rings Re to die for, but it does come at a cost. The prices have increased but I suppose you pay for the experience as well, staff provide a good atmosphere although on this visit they were busy and so not as attentive.

We have been a few times now, as we had originally found it by accident over 8 years ago and everytime we are in Blackpool we always head there.

The food is always excellent and real good value

Went as a couple on a Sunday evening. Booked this as was one in the Gourmet Society. They do a two course meal for £8.50 but as we were using the Gourmet card we ordered off the main menu. We did not bother with starters and ordered just the main. I ordered the veal that stated it came with potatoes and veg and my husband the steak. The meals came and they were both with chips. I pointed out to the manager that I expected to get new potatoes not chips as I don't normally eat chips. He said what are chips but potatoes, then admitted later that they had run out of potatoes. The Veal was nice but I didn't eat all the chips. Asked what there was for sweet and was told cheesecake and tiramsui as they had run out of everything else. We said we would have cheesecake only to be told there was only one piece. Decided that we wouldn't bother with sweet and asked for the bill. This arrived and we presented a credit card to pay which didn't go down very well. The guy started having a moan that he would have to pay a 2.5% charge for us paying on card and we had already got two for one on the deal with Gourmet and inferred he was losing money. We ignored his comments and paid and left.
This restaurant should advertise the fact that they only accept cash only if they don't want to accept credit cards. Also request they be taken out of the Gourmet Society restaurants.
WOULD NOT GO BACK

We had not intended to eat at this place and found it by accident when on holiday in Blackpool. We walked in rather timidly as we are not used to eating out but we were greeted immediately with a warm and typical Italian enthusiastical encouragement to try some of their Italian food.We were won over with the interior and warm welcome and found the food to be a perfect choice as it was superb. Can recommend this place to you for good food and nice atmosphere for a night free from washing up.
