Yet another great welcoming stay in st chads . Nana Hogg and all her family had a ball . Simply fabby .great company , met some lovely people during our stay . A big pat on the back to all who keep this hotel going , from reception to the very busy dining room and bar , never to much bother for them when specific requests made .. Hope to see you all again . And keep that bell ringing behind the bar. And dave don't stop singing penny arcade ,!!!love it x

Room Tip: Beautiful views to front .

My young son an l stayed at this hotel. A friend and some family member had a good experience here and recommended it. The difference was they were paying guests and we were with a coach tour. We found the hotel very noisy, let alone the smell. There was a lot of older folk on the tour and we found that they we treated much better than us. We were served last every evening and the same in the mornings. I would get upset because l would be in a hurry to take my son out for the day and got agitated when l saw everyone was being served tea/coffee toast etc and we would be sat whilst half or more of the coach were tucking into their full english. One evening we were late in because we had been to the zoo and didn't catch the bus in time. We were not given the days menu, we were given yesterdays menu. I felt we were treated very badly and swore we would never be back. My theory was, older folk will leave a big tip and because l was a young mother with a small child they thought l wouldn't leave anything. Also. Trying to get someone on reception was an impossibility.

Why wait a year to write this? Why didn't you just ask for better service while you were staying with us? We pride ourselves on being attentive to ALL customers and their needs. In your tirade you admit as such and seem to justify your complaints with a theory of which customer leaves the best tip which, I might add, is totally without foundation and a complete fabrication of the truth.
Myself and my sister are available 24/7 and, being mothers ourselves, are very attentive to mothers with small children, as are the rest of the staff. It doesn't matter if you are with a coach tour or not.

Can't believe it is already two weeks since I returned from my last visit to this wonderful hotel and very friendly staff.
I thought that there was no room for improvement but I was wrong. The reception area and sun lounges have been beautifully redecorated. This perfectly compliments the lovely bedrooms and the cleanliness of the whole hotel.
The English breakfast is enormous and sets you up for the day. The bar prices haven't increased from last year and it's cheaper to drink in this quality hotel on the Prom than it is in some back street pubs.
Can't wait to return in the Autumn for the Illuminations.
Take care everyone and see you soon.
David xx.

We have just come back from a weekend at St Chads. The hotel is right on the sea front & close to everything. Parking is free which is an added bonus. We arrived at around 4.00pm our room keys were ready & waiting. Receptionist made us welcome, explained how to find our rooms. Our room was a double which was clean and had plenty of storage space. The bathroom although was an old fashioned suite was lovely and clean! All round a nice place to stay!

Not bad for the price, very clean and breakfast was decent, rooms were basic as you would expect. The shower was poor and they tried to charge my friend £30 to get back into the room because he didn't have his key which I found strange. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would definitely stay there again.

My two sisters and I have just returned from yet another long weekend at St Chads and as usual we have had a wonderful stay. We have been visiting Blackpool for around thirty years but, since we found St Chads about 14 years ago, we would never dream of staying at another hotel. St Chads is immaculate and the food is wonderful but what really makes this hotel stand out is the brilliant service that we receive from all of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile. My sisters and I are all 60+ but this hotel caters equally well for younger guests and family groups.
I genuinely believe that this is the best hotel in Blackpool.
