we stayed in this room 221 which was booked through the lydene next door, we opened the door and the smell of stale tobbaco hit you in the face this was a smoking room.shower and en suite were not very good if you had a old person stopping in this room they would not been able to get in and out of the bath/shower.we should have stopped 2 nights but left next day. can not comment on staff we never really had anything to do with them because we were room only.

Obviously we are disappointed that "Sonia" was unhappy but no problem was brought to our attention. We have designated smoking rooms, which are clearly marked at reception. All "Sonia" had to do was ask for a non-smoking room and it would have been provided immediately, together with a more suitable bathroom.

If your going to this hotel do not accept room 108, if you have a very young family or elderly unless of course your a party animal. It is right over the entertainment and i measured the noise at 104 decibels the equivelent of being in the underground as the train is passing from 8pm till 1:45am. other than that the hotel is good and food very good

Room Tip: any room but 108

We stayed at St Chads at the weekend and we loved it, especially the breakfast which was served to us by a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for my wife who is pregnant. In fact it was the best service we have ever had at any hotel and we will recommend it to our friends.

We were given the name of thos hotel to stay at as we had to sadly attend a funeral in Blakpool. Well we were presently surprised. On arrival we were warmly greeted and the lady on reception knew we were there for the funeral as the person who had sadly passed away was well known at St.Chads.

Although the rooms are small we had a room over looking the seafront. Everything you need was there, tea/coffee making, Nice size TV, Towels, soap, and the beds were very comforatable. On Friday night we went out for a walk and a tram ride down to Fleetwood and when we returned we popped into the bar. Well although there was in total only a dozen people there the dj was good, plenty of variety of music and played any requests.

Breakfast on Sat morning was fantastic, plenty to eat, not self service and the waitresses were really nice and friendly.

All in all cannto fault the hotel, would stary again if ever up that way.

Shocked at the "Fawlty Towers Review???" Are you sure you were at the same hotel as me and the other guests on that weekend??? Although the hotel was quiet, the guests in the cabaret lounge on the Saturday night had a lovely time and the bar staff were very smart, clean and polite? Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. Food was scrumptious and waiting on staff were polite and efficient. I would love to hear reviews from the rest of the guests on that same weekend of 21st April 2012 as reviews like this can be very damaging??
