Nice hotel based right in centre of Blackpool, perfect location for town centre, tower and other attractions. Our room was very clean and serviced everyday, clean towels etc.We stayed on a b/b
and evening meal basis and food was excellent.Good home cooked meals (especially Veronique's home made soup)!!.Very good value for money.Barry and Veronique were both very welcoming and friendly. The added bonus for us was the quietness of the hotel in the evening
ensuring a good nights sleep. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

I would recommend this hotel, location was excellent and we were only five mins walk away from most of the attractions.

The hotel was clean and tidy, our rooms were great with plenty of storage space for our stuff. The owners were very friendly and helpful, they were on hand for any queries that we had. The breakfast was good too!

I booked this hotel based on previous reviews and was not disappointed.

Everything was top notch. Clean tidy and quiet little b&b. Very friendly host- nothing was a bother. Breakfast was good standard for the price. Best fried eggs ever!

The only neg was i couldn't work out how to use the shower... But that was prob more to do with the drink.

We stayed at the Argyll for 1 week in Mid Oct and were met by Barry & Veronique, who were very welcoming. The room was nice & the food was excellent. The position of this hotel is very central and ideal for everything. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We - my parents and I - had a wonderful short break in Blackpool, and highly recommend the Argyll. It is a quiet hotel in a quiet road, yet very conveniently situated for all Blackpool has to offer. The staff went they second mile in relation to our welfare. They were friendly, welcoming and yet not instrusive. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Our rooms were very clean, and always serviced when we returned. The breakfast was out of this world. The sea air makes you hungry, and the breakfast really sets you up for the day. My only complaint is that my trip was so short! PS. From my bedroom window at night I could see Blackpool Tower all lit up. The first glimpse of the illuminations really makes your jaw drop.

the owners of the guesthouse were very welcoming, let us check in and check out at anytime we wanted, gave us directions and recommended places to go and see and were more than polite!. the room itself was nice, couldn't fault it at all especially for the price! nice warm comfy beds, view of the blackpool tower, clean, spacious and good shower. the location was good, in the town near all the shops, only 5 min walk to beach and pier. the pleasure beach was a 40 min walk but can get the tram for about £1.40 each which is near the beach. the breakfast in the morning was lovely, had a choice of cereals, toast and full english.
we couldn't really understand why it was rated 2* because it had everything we wanted :) and we will be returning soon hopefully!
