“Big portions”
Reviewed April 13, 2010

You get very big portions from here, but it's good value and cooked well. The desserts are especially good! Really friendly staff and good music.

“Great place to hang with friends”
Reviewed March 10, 2010

West Coast Rock Cafe is a great atmosphere and a good place to hang with friends. Its about the only place in Blackpool that we have thats like this. Alot of indie kids, rockers and groups of friends hang here because they often have bands etc on the upper floor. I think you can rent the room upstairs too.

The food is ok, I feel like thats an unfair comment though because I prefer to eat places that are a bit nicer and Im not really into burgers etc. There is alots to choose from on the menu but I would stay away from the pasta dishes are they are a bit bland and taste like microwave meals and not too fresh.
The burgers are huge. King Kong burger is ridiculously big so make sure you have an appetite when you order that.
Chicken Ceaser salad is nice and you also get a nice large portion. This would be quite a good place to go on a 1st date to break the ice as the atmosphere is pretty chilled out.

Also a tip- If its your birthday and you go with friends, the birthday girl/boy gets their meal free....:-)

“Best meal ever in Blackpool”
Reviewed February 28, 2010

What a find! I asked a taxi driver where to go in Blackpool and he recommended the West Coast Rock Cafe. We had the three children with us and we are always struggling to find a place to eat which will have something that they will all like. There's no problem like that there. The choice is endless. They ate it all up and even had a sweet too.Delicious! Can't wait to go back
