Had a fantastic time at this hotel - we stayed for 2 nights on 23rd and 24th June - we went with my daughters dance school and we had an amazing weekend. Adrian and rod couldn't do enough for us - they were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and extremely helpful! We had the run of the hotel and the disco/bar/karaoke downstairs was fab! Not sure if parents or the kids enjoyed it the most! Breakfast was served early for us as we had to be at the dance competition at 8.30am - and it was lovely, so were the rooms and so was the bar (ha ha!) - cannot wait for next year!

Well we just bk after the weekend and must say the Blackpool hotel was perfect ......we were there with my daughters dance school and nothing was a bother to the owners ....we had the whole hotel as there was that many of us and I do no the school had stayed there the year b4 and was more than happy and so we booked bk up for this and next year .....the lads were fantastic and helped in every way they could the rooms were SPOTLESS the bedding was whiter than white the towels were beautiful soft and clean ( until the morning because of the children's fake tan woops sorry ) but not even that was a problem to them ! Breakfast set us all up for the day and I was shocked at how much there was to choose from ......on the night time they opened the disco down stairs for the kids but to be honest all us parents enjoyed it more than the kids .......We all had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel !! See you in November lads and thank you for been such fantastic hosts !!! Xxx

We stayed sat 9th June, Our group of 4 couples was kindly greeted by Adrian who made us feel totally at home. The bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced, also Adrian also knew how to make the wife's vodka without drowning it in lemonade. Rooms were clean and tidy and as previous reviews they are working hard to renovate the rooms of which we were shown and are lovely. Breakfast was good just what's needed after a day/night out on the town !! We will definately be back thanks Rod & Adrian

Its hard to know where to start! We'd seen so many good stories and reviews about this hotel in the Middlesbrough gazette as the owners are apparently famed for serving Parmo's which are rare to find away from the North East. We live in Manchester so it was great to hear of somewhere in the North West where we could not only stay overnight but have a rare treat of a parmo, boy were we mistaken! We arrived and asked about booking in at the in hotel restaurant to be told that yes we could book in for a meal but the policy is if its your first night you have to have a set meal of 3 courses (soup, roast and apple crumble) then if you stay 2 nights you are blessed with the option of choosing from another 2 items for a main but thats night 2 only! We were taken to our room, which was fantastic if you like cream woodchip and and curly bodily hairs in the sink. The toilet paper was hilarious, the cheapest money could buy but efforts were made to jazz it up by folding the end in a triangle. One trip to the loo and half the roll is gone! But, we told ourself "if you book cheap you get cheap, lets stick the telly on for half an hour and relax before going out........hold on, wheres the remote?? £5 from reception says the note on the door". We experienced Blackpool which was great and went back to the hotel at 8.50 to relax, knowing that there was a decent stocked bar on site. Unbelieveable, everything was all locked up and in darkness. So basically they lost money from a meal and later drinks. Not a very good way to run a business. The following morning i couldnt find fault with the breakfast although i did see a few ants wandering about, some on the table. We finally went to check out and the host was cold, took the key and that was that. To be honest he was odd with us, everyone i saw him with in fact from the start. Theres no encouragement to go back here. If you want cheap without the cheerfull then this is the place for you

I was asked to write a piece on the International fitness showcase in Blackpool and had no idea where to say. After reading reviews on the Blackpool Hotel I decided to book for the weekend. I arrived on Thursday 23rd March and was greeted by a very polite young man. The reception is based opposite the living room area which is like home from home. My room was small, clean and well provided with clean towels everyday, tea, coffee and water. The owners did everything to accomodate me at breakfast times (i.e. providing vegetarian sausages and wheatfree bread). This was truly value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: A single room is really a single so go far a double.

Stayed here for a weekend and I have to say the decor was dated, the food was disgusting and the host was an absolute weirdo! Was never greeted by a smile and even when we handed our keys back we never even got a goodbye he just walked straight past! Also did room service which would of been ok if he hadn't of folded all my clothes up which was down right weird, pyjamas , etc.... !!!

my friend and I have just spent Saturday and Sunday at the Blackpool Hotel. We were greeted at the door and found instant friendliness among the staff. Hotel was comfortable, and value for money, and the staff certainly made us feel at home. The Hotel is about five minutes walk to The Tower, the Shopping Center, North Pier and pubs and clubs. We would definitely choose The Blackpool again on our next visit . Thanks guys, it was a pleasure staying .
