Have visited Blackpool several times in recent years. Every year they become more of a disappointment. The best are at North Shore. Don’t bother driving through, mostly just strings of lights across the road and down the side of the road. A few themed lights (mostly with sponsors name all over them). The daleks were not there this year, usually a pretty big crowd puller. Can’t help but agree with another reviewer who stated that if this is the best they can do, then it’s time to call it a day. Such a shame, they used to be fantastic when I was a kid.

Nice lights but don't look down, the bins are badly overflowing everywhere and where there's a bin ,there's a tramp. Glad to see a police woman on her own, !!! Yes that's right!!!!doing her job n ticketing a female guitarist sat on floor in the evening on the front, why don't they tAke the ones out their face on mamba off the street, it's so wrong family's walking with small children have to see it at this place. Plenty of empTy places to sit em all in!!

Adore the illuminations and visit them every single year, whether you have young children, older children, or want to pop down with some friends it’s a beautiful sight to see.

I remember visiting the illuminations when I was younger and loved the old trams with all the lights on. Did it again today and most the old trams have gone which is disappointing. Enjoyed the recent visit but think that the illuminations have gone down hill slightly

Was very excited to see the lights for the first time since I was a child and to take my 2 year old but we were very disappointed and she got very bored. We managed to travel 1 mile in an hour and a half from squires gate to the entrance of the pleasure beach. Was there any traffic management? Any organisation? Or are Blackpool council just hoping for the best? It should be one way on to see the lights and that's it because on the few roads that I passed everyone was just cutting in. The few light I saw were great but looking at the same ones for an hour kinda looses all excitement and enthusiasm. I'm very disappointed and will definitely never be back to try again unless I here they are actually going to manage the traffic.
